November 8 / 22:30hrs -- " ... I saw over Heywood in Lancashire what I first thought to be a meteorite shower. There was no noise and the sky was clear. There were 7-8 red lights in formation as I watched them, very high in the sky. They moved quite quickly in a south westerly direction towards Manchester and disappeared from my view. They were too high and too wide to be a plane.
Did anyone else see them? Does anyone know what they are?
I've never seen anything like this is the sky before and felt compelled to tell someone.
Unfortunately my wife was in the bath and by the time I told her the incident was over.
