12.06.2008: Followers of Dan Green's quest into the Lincoln Cathedral Grail Code discovery and the Mystery of Rennes-les-Chateau have an opportunity of watching all his YouTube video material, including visits to Royston Cave, Temple Bruer etc., on one page here.
Paul C. Muir's ongoing studies into orbs and other mysterious energies has also been documented in part on FS. See: Orbs, Energy And Mists: 'The Inconvenient Truth'. In addition we have just added the link to his related slideshow, incorporating some 20 images. The same page now carries an embedded YouTube video entitled: 'The Orb, Bar, Wave Phenomenon - The Missing Mass of Creation'.
That so-called 'Timber Plank' Mars photo anomaly highlighted recently by conspiracy theorists and originally featured in a NASA press release back in 2004 (also covered on FS here), is a timely endorsement of Paul's ongoing research into the 'Orb Bar Wave process', he believes. By way of illustration we have incorporated his YouTube video Is there Life on Mars? on the same page, while you can view associated images and accompanying text here.

CONTENDER FOR THE 'TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE' FILE?
Well, you may have already watched the YouTube video of an alleged saucer-shaped craft landing in Slovenia, at 18:17 on the evening of Oct 14. According to news reports, "Several people from Ajdovscina, Ozeljan and Shempas heard an unusual sound and noticed a large flying object that moved chaotically. Around 18:00 hrs, the Vipavskaa valley was left without electricity, while the mobile phones had no signal." In the six seconds worth of film I viewed here , there was no landing but the disc-like craft was clearly seen in silhouette against a setting sun. Too good to be true? If it looks like a flying model, it probably was.
In a Spanish editorial Otra vez no llegaron los extraterrestres on Mexico's Info7 website today, the author Belduque makes several valid points and claims in respect of Australian Blossom Goodchild's failed UFO prophesy contact event of Oct 14 and others before it. We are entitled to conclude that this is tantamount to simple fraud. Designed "to draw media attention and people, especially the naive and fearful of these issues," says Belduque. The skeptical author notes that each time an apparent mystery regarded as "undeniable" and "indisputable" is refuted and demystified the reality shows their ['fans' of UFOs, as he calls them] beliefs are out of place".
Update - Oct.16.08: British-born Australian actress, author and self-proclaimed psychic Blossom Goodchild confronts her followers and critics in this video regarding the Federation of Light's no-show in Earth's skies on Oct 14. View it here.

PHOTO UPDATE of China's ET Pyramid and Pipe Relics
It was back in 2002 when FS first came across a story about a remote site in China, so strange that some there are convinced it represents the remnants of ancient ET relics.
The location, on Mount Baigong, in Qinghai Province, contains a collection of mysterious iron pipes both buried and scattered loose on the ground. Three caves with triangular openings are visible and more pipes of various diameters were found in the most accessible.
Because of its harsh environment, no-one lives in the region and no manufacturing industry has ever been established there. This makes the presence of ancient pipework all the more anomalous.
Analysis of the material has shown they are largely made up of 30 percent ferric oxide with a large amount of silicon dioxide and calcium oxide.
Few photographs have been made available of the site but I have managed to locate three new images, featuring the location and an iron pipe. The area shows clear evidence of human habitation in ancient times. Dotted along the shores of a salty lake are numerous standing stones.
Follow the story by clicking first on this link: Chinese Scientists To Investigate ET Pyramid/Pipe Relics. The new photo's have been added to the second report here: ET relics Or Not, Ancient Pipes Concern Chinese.

Back in June 2002 news surfaced in the West of a supposed "ET relic site" in northwest China's Qinghai province. Newspapers and news agencies at the time reported that a team of Chinese scientists were to begin examining a 60-foot high ancient pyramid structure, containing what appeared to be suspicious metal tubes, located more than 2,800 meters above sea level. FS carried two popular reports of the story - here and here - and was as disappointed as anyone when nothing more was heard from China.
Well, investigations by that initial team of scientists, later experts and even a Chinese TV crew have resulted in the following wild and widely differing published hypotheses:
  • Relics of prehistoric human beings. It is believed that prehistoric men held higher industrial and cultural achievements than existing human beings. Relics of their achievements remained after they disappeared with changing glacier conditions. However, no sign of glacier activity was evident around Mount Baigong.
  • Fossils of plants with tube-shaped stems formed under high pressure. Scientific analysis tells us that fossils of fauna and flora can only remain the same; fossils could not change into forms such as iron pipes positioned in different ways. In addition, there has neither been any report of iron in the surrounding area, nor is there any evidence of fossils.
  • A unique geological phenomenon. After an investigative tour of the area, Zheng Jiandong, a geology research fellow from the China Earthquake Administration said he favors the possibility that when underground magma rose to the surface ferric materials froze to form the tube-like objects. "There is indeed something mysterious about these pipes," he explained, "for example, the size of the pipes tends to be small and some of them are highly radioactive."
  • A creation of ET beings. The Qaidam Basin of Qinghai is high in altitude, there are few clouds and air is transparent; while Mount Baigong is very close to the lakes. If an ET being entered our planet in an aircraft, the mountain would be the most eye-catching landmark, and the area would be ideal for landing. Were the pipes used for research into the chemical elements of the Tuosou Lake?
What FS subsequently discovered is that as far back as 1980 there was interest in these mysteries, when retired Ningxia senior geology engineer Yan Zhiqiang conducted on-the-spot investigations and wrote an explicit inspection report. He also took a look at the two adjacent lakes, one filled with fresh water, the other unusually salty. In February 1984, the popular science publishing house Guangzhou published "Riddle of the Universe", containing two of geology expert Yan's papers that dealt with the Tuosou Lake prehistoric stratum and its mysterious tubular metal structures.
About 10 years earlier the engineer had conducted geological investigation work when in Inner Mongolia and had discovered similar "pipes" which, he concluded at the time, were remnants of fossilized plant material. His published report on Tuosuo Lake and its adjacent ET pyramid noted both contained the same mineral ingredients, spatial distribution, geometry shape, chemical composition and magnetic characteristics to produce similar tubular plant fossils. Perhaps as a result of the trunk and branches of weeping willow lying buried in lake silt for millions of years.
With Yan having already concluded that this ancient geological site was entirely natural and had no alien links whatsoever, it appears that not everyone is yet ready to accept his report. [posted 2007.05.27 | archive]

A live webcam established and operating near Egypt's Giza pyramids consistently throws up aerial anomalies, a number of which have defied explanation. So many are there that the website even includes a UFO Review Slideshow. PyramidCam is one of a 110 paranomaly webcam links to be found on FarShores here.
On March 30, yet another unexplained object was captured in the sky by this camera. Prior to processing the image FS wondered if the anomaly were an insect but is left guessing after removal of digital noise from the original screen capture and other enhancements.
The Italian website 'Terni in rete', examined another recent photo and you can visit via this e-trans link here and view the pyramids picture, along with a further six images focussing on the mystery. Terni in rete appears to suggest that the unexplained object is scorpion-shaped and concludes (perhaps tongue-in-cheek) that it is somehow linked to the star Antares. FS thinks this object is not a Ufo, nor a plane but most likely a bird.
(05.03.07) - Good for Massimiliano Mattei, of Terni in rete, he tells me that PyramidCam owner Jim Sorensen has confirmed the mysterious "scorpion"-shaped object in the sky was indeed a local bird. The link to Massimiliano's web page now reflects this new information.)
However, with the ancient pyramids now under such close 24 hour scrutiny, perhaps it's only a matter of time before a conclusive explanation will be found for so much anomalous activity and just maybe it is otherworldly. [posted 2007.05.02]
