New Jersey UFO Hoax Was A Good Thing ?
Dan Aykroyd finds that the New Jersey UFO hoax was a good thing ? He says it is a good thing, meaning the UFO hoax as it brings more attention to real cases, this while signing vodka bottles for his many fans.
Well personally speaking, Dan's comment is a little out there as far as I see it. It is tough enough to try to figure out at times which reported sighting is a hoax or the real deal. Now having Dan say this, he certainly is not at all helping the UFO field. I personally worked my butt off and drove hours and hours, spending alot of my own money going to meet folks who "claimed" they had a UFO/alien encounter. After visiting with some of these people, nothing happened and I wasted time and money which could have been better spent on a real honest sightings. I certainly was not a happy camper and I sure don't find promoting the idea that reporting hoaxes is good for the UFO business.
So to hear Dan Aykroyd come out with a silly and disappointing statement is beyond me. His comments just do not help and makes me really angry to say the least.

Ross On Wye, Herefordshire - Object Looked Like A Bright Star

Time: 11:25 p.m.
Standing by the back door, calling the cat in last night, I looked up into the clear, starry sky to see an orange spherical light moving horizontally, North to South across the sky. It looked to be perhaps half a mile away, maybe 250 - 500 feet up and was travelling at a constant, steady speed. I strained to listen for an engine but could hear nothing - other than the distant hum of night-time traffic on the bypass, which is a mile or so in the opposite direction. It looked and behaved similarly to the three orange lights which my son and I witnessed on Christmas Day evening and which I have previously reported to this site although, if anything, this light was larger and more vivid. I called my wife to take a look and together we watched it for perhaps a further 10 - 15 seconds until it became obscured by the roof of our neighbor's house. I continued watching for a while, waiting for it to emerge from behind the opposite side of the roof, but it failed to reappear.

Ross-On-Wye/Monmouth, Wales, UK - Five Red/Orange Lights
Date: February 6, 2009
Time: 2350 for approx 2-3 minutes
While driving on the M50 south bound first saw a red light transit low from right to left at a very fast speed, far greater than even military jets, then whilst passing Ross-on-Wye on the A40 there were 5 red/orange lights that were moving amongst each other between the 2 hills, very maneuverable and in close proximity to each other. The 5 lights then lined up in an almost perfect vertical line before the 3 smaller lights headed away while the other 2 larger lights remained for a further 2 minutes before also heading away from where I had stopped my car.
Further down the A40 just before the roundabout exit to Monmouth I saw a further red light flash across the sky from right to left.
Do you have any ideas what these lights could have been? My only guess would possibly be microlights or hand gliders between the two hills but at that time of night?? And as for the 2 fast red lights, shooting stars?

Staffordshire, England - Two Bright Orangey Red Ball

Time: 9:30 p.m.
I was around the mow cop area, just parked up in the car in one of the Laybys with my boyfriend, all of a sudden he was shouting 'what the hell is that'. I turned around and there was a bright orangey red ball moving very slowly quite far away over the Staffordshire region. It stopped and began to hover for about 1-2 minutes, it gradually got smaller and smaller until it disappeared. About ten seconds later, another one flew at an amazing speed across the sky and began to hover right in the spot where the first one was, it did the same thing, got smaller and smaller until it disappeared. It couldn't have been an aircraft of any kind as it had no flashing lights and it couldn't of been a firework as it was to high in the sky and did not explode or drop back down at any point. What I find most interesting is that there have been 3 other reports of the same kind of sightings in the Staffordshire area which all seemed to have started since the beginning of 20.

Kingston, Ontario - A Circular Object

Time: Before and around 1:00am
We were watching TV in the living room of our apartment on the 6th floor. We have big windows facing towards an Easterly direction. My girlfriend bought my attention towards a light she saw outside that had not been there previously and I shrugged it off as a star. It was in a North, Northeast direction. Then she restated that it had not been there before. And I said "Well at different times of the year stars appear at different locations in the night sky". Then as I looked at it again, I noticed it had moved and looked at my girlfriend she said "I think it moved". So then my interest peaked because it for sure was not a plane, and we grabbed the binoculars we had. Upon looking at the object through the binoculars we then discovered it was showing different coloured lights that seemed to be changing almost like flashing but not more like it might have been rotating. The colours of the lights were Red, white and green for sure (I thought I saw blue and then my girlfriend later during her observation thought she saw yellow.)
Still this object was quite far but definitely in the Earths atmosphere. Then we noticed a second more closer object (still hard to decipher with the naked eye) upon observation with the binoculars this object appeared to be doing the same thing as the first object sitting in the with changing lights.
The Second object started to move into the distance until we could not see it anymore while the first object remained relatively in the same spot, but gradually moving up in the sky, possibly rising to greater elevation but did not seem to move significantly further or closer to us.
Eventually my girlfriend go tired and went to bed followed by me shortly after. I don't know what it was but it wasn't a plane, and it wasn't a helicopter and it was still there when I went to sleep.

Aerorand, Middelburg, South Africa - Five Round Orange/Red Objects (Video)

At 21h51 while busy with Police Patrols Insp. (Name removed) and myself saw 5 round objects, orange-red in colour. They seemed to be flying in some sort of formation. Another two objects flew towards the 5 and then all 7 moved off together and disappeared behind the clouds. (name removed) and myself made a video clip. Friends of mine also phoned me and confirmed the sighting and they recorded the sighting as well.

Hamburg, Germany - Rotating Lights
Date: February 28, 2009
Time: 12.50 until 1.30 am
Me and my wife came from south Germany going north on the autobahn. Just east of Hamburg going towards Berlin and Lubeck, my wife spotted these rotating lights on our right side. I slowed down our speed since I could not believe what we saw. My wife opened the window and kind of invited it in to her talking to it and saying hallo, come, come and it seemed like it came very close, maybe 50-100 meters.
I decided to take the next exit since it seemed like the object followed us. This location was shortly after we passed the in door ski hall. When we took of the exit the object followed us on our right side just a bit in the front of us, 1 o'clock. After driving 2-3 kilometers I decided to pull over and step out in front of the car. My wife stayed in the car. The object came almost directly over me. The lights rotated, stopped and turned around in its rotation. It moved away and came back, still rotating and changing its rotation direction. The inner circle had approx. 5-6 lights rotating the outer circle had probably 20 lights that also rotated.
After we had been there for approx. 15 minutes it seemed that the object was repeating it self, going away and coming back. My wife was very tied and wanted me to come back to the car and go find a hotel. We turned around on the highway and drove west towards Hamburg. The object followed us now it was in our left back side 7 o'clock. It followed us all the way into the nearest exit where we saw a hotel. The object was still behind us, we went in to see if we wanted to stay there and decided to go on to Lubeck back on the highway.
When we came back on the highway the object was still there again it followed us at our 1 o'clock until we went back on the autobahn towards Lubeck. When we were back on the autobahn the object finally disappeared. The object had no noise to it at all. We kind of felt that it was a light show or something similar to begin with, but after the object had followed us first on the autobahn then on the next highway and then again after stopping stepping out and see it very closely, after approx. 15 minutes turned around and drove approx. 5 kilometers and it was still there it had to be real!! We read your sighting spotted on August 19th 1997 today and we were very happy to hear someone else had seen something very similar then!

Liverpool, Merseyside, England - Two White Lights

I was outside in the yard when a passing overhead plane caught my attention, I seen 2 other planes that where in the distance but lower on the horizon when I noticed 2 white lights, they where quite far away so hard to make out and going about twice the speed of the other high flying commercial planes, at first I thought they were seagulls and it was an illusion that they looked far away but quickly realized they where flying in straight lines away from each other. bemused at what I was seeing one of them broke into 2 parts and the dimmer part started to rotate around the main light then joined together then slowly disappeared into nothing. Not believing what I just seen the other faded out in the exact same way but without the second light. The first sensible explanation that came to mind was it was a meteor but the two lights were going in opposite directions near perfectly horizontal. I am still in doubt at what a seen because I am very skeptical but if somebody else had seen it would make me a lot less confused.

Mt Colah, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - A Orange Ball

I was outside having a cigarette with my wife and I was talking about various things then I saw over her shoulder a orange ball passing between the trees going North, it was moving slow it was low to the ground and was at a guess 4 to 5km's away and it made no sound.

South East London, England - An Orange Colored Object

I happened to look upwards to see an orange coloured object. It looked like some thing was on fire, like a firework before it explodes. I could not tell its actual size because of its height, it did look like the size of a helicopter or small aircraft, it moved at similar speed of which a helicopter would do. It continued in a straight line, I thought some thing was on fire and would either explode or fall towards the ground, it did neither just carried until I could no longer see it.

Cornwall, England - A Bright Venus Like Light

Me and my mother were in our backyard when I spotted a very bright Venus like light moving in an east/west direction, (towards Dartmoor.) The sky was clear and there were no other stars visible at that time. It was flying relatively low in comparison to a plane and it wasn't hanging around either. Neither me or her have a clue as to what it might possibly be. Whatever it was I have never seen anything shine so brightly in the daylight sky as this. When I ran indoors to grab my binoculars the object was almost out of focus.

Whitecroft British Columbia Canada - Star Like Object

Looking southwest out back window, saw what originally looked like a white very bright star, which then changed colors to red blue and green alternating. Object stayed in the same spot just above the tree line. Colors increased intensity, for about 20 minutes, then faded to red and object left the area.

Fruitvale, British Columbia - Eight Unknown Objects

About 7:00pm my wife was laying on the couch watching TV when she noticed a light over the mountain. The light was stationary, but strobing in different colors. The colors went from reds to blues to greens. I went outside with my binoculars to get a better look at the object and discovered that there were 8 of these at different points in the sky. The first one was the brightest with 3 more off to the right arrayed in a perfectly straight line with more above and to the right of the 3. When we looked to the east there was another one above the mountain there. All 3 of us took turns viewing these lights through the binoculars. We watched these lights for approximately 15 minutes before they all dropped below line of sight behind the mountains. Since none of the other stars had moved in relation with the mountains in this time frame, we could only conclude that what we had seen were not stars.

Maple Ridge, British Columbia Canada - Strange Lights (UFOs)

Time: 10:00 p.m.
Two lights looked like aircraft lights which we have regularly over our house but coming in at a different angle. Seemed to be descending like an aircraft (there was no engine noise) I thought it may be in distress as it was way to low to the ground and off the normal course that the planes come over our house. Also the lights where not flashing like normal aircraft lights. I started to think the plane would crash fairly close to our house if it continued the lights where very close to the ground no aircraft that large would be that close. The lights seemed to stop progressing forward then hovered in the air. The lights then started to spread apart. They turned from a horizontal position to a vertical position and continued to get spread apart. The bottom light got smaller and more orange in color and seemed to disappear. The light at the top started to fade and then disappeared to.

Got out of bed at 5:00am to go to the bathroom and it was still dark outside. Upon entering our landing from the bedroom, I noticed a very bright light in the early morning out of our landing window. I stopped as this wasn't normal and took time to check that it wasn't coming from another property. The light was still in the sky and I have no rational explanation as to what was generating this light. I must make it clear that I am very skeptical given my belief in 'rare earth theory'.

Coventry, England - Two Blue/Green Orbs Frighten Family Pet

Time: 9.30 p.m.
We were walking the dogs and one of them got spooked and wouldn't walk further. My companion spotted a single blue/green orb moving around above us, first from left to right, back to left, around in a semi-circle, then in a zig-zag fashion. There didn't seem to be any pattern. At times it would stop and stay still for a moment. Suddenly a second orb joined it, following at times and then leading.
