Freeport, Illinois - UFO

It flew low right to the south of my house, looked like it was actually going to land in Freeport. It made no noise. And its three lights were flashing. My camera actually shows the movement of the UFO. You can see the shape and everything.

Exeter, South West England - A Series Of Small Orange Orbs
Date: December 27, 2008
Time: Between 22:30-22:50hrs
Just logged on the internet as a result of what I've just seen here in Exeter, South West UK. My report is almost identical to one filed with you in late 2008 from someone else in a different part of this city, "December 27th 2008 : Redhills, Exeter, Devon, England" to be precise.
Between 22:30-22:50hrs I saw a series of small orange orbs moving silently across the sky. It was like watching a series of plane coming in to land at a busy international airport (nothing of that scale near here). Some of the orbs had bits break off them and fall vertically towards the earth - no sign, sound or evidence of any impact to be seen. The majority reached a certain point (usually the same point) in the sky then vanished!

Uxbridge, Ontario - Bright Light Revealed A Grey Object

Went out during super bowl 1/2 time without any influence of beer etc. Took dog for a walk I noticed a bright light coming towards my home. I live on a large acreage and assumed a plane flying low but no engine sound captured my attention then I realized the light was a reflection of the moon as the object flew over head the light became dimmer and revealed a grey coloured object was a low flying??? This was a UFO of some sorts. Have not mentioned to anyone but close family even they thought I was crazy but I did see something I could not explain. The object continued to travel south over the Lakeridge Ski Hill I could see it clearly as the lights from the ski area exposed the belly of the object...still quite freaked out.

Atascadero, California - A Bright Stationary Light

I saw a bright stationary light over the coast off Morro Bay, CA. I checked on it over the course of a half hour and it remained until the last time I checked at 8:30 pm then disappeared. It was a bright light about 5 times the size of a star but had the same characteristics. The curious thing was that I saw this same thing in the same spot about a year ago. The only difference was that last time it moved back and forth and pulsated.

Farsley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England - A Big Bright Orange/Red Object

Time: Approx: 7:00 p.m.
Last night around 7 o'clock myself and my wife were sat down eating our evening meal when my wife said what the hell is that, so I got up out of my chair and looked out of the window. There was a big bright orange/red object moving across the sky from west to east and no faster than a plane and was probably about 600 700 ft up. As the object disappeared behind the flats out side our property I went out side to investigate more.
The bright object re-appeared form the other side of the flats and slowly disappeared into the distance. The thing that got me was that the object had no sound to it and there was a plane coming from the same direction underneath this object and I could hear the plane quite clearly but the object was closer to me than the plane. Do you have any idea what it was as I don't believe in UFOs but now my views are slightly different now.

Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England - Three Orange Yellow Lights
Date: February 10 2009
Time: 9.35 p.m.
3 orange/yellow lights in the sky, evenly spaced apart quite some distance. They were low down in the sky to the south. The 1 on the left was slightly higher than the middle light, and the middle one slightly higher then the 1 on the right. The light on the right vanished, then the other 2 seemed to fade in and out, becoming very bright at times. They appeared not to be moving at all. We could see planes and lots of stars at the same time, however the orange/yellow lights were in the distance and much lower than the stars and planes. We watched the lights for about 10 minutes until the remaining 2 just vanished.

UFOINFO Note: As with other similar reports I asked the witness to have a look at the UFO Balloons website to see if this is what might have been seen and received the following reply:
Hi John,
Thank you for the quick response. I have had a look at pictures/footage of the balloons/lanterns and cannot rule this out as possibly being what we saw, if I could ask though, we think the 'lights' were about 10 - 15 miles away, would the balloons be visible at such a distance?

Cancun, Mexico - White Colored UFOs Darting Around In The Sky

Time: Approx: 8:30 p.m.
Outside of a mall in Cancun, 4 of us observed people looking up at the night sky and noticed many small white objects at first looked like the stars but than began to move and dart around in different directions, and appeared to be chasing and making formations, at one time there were four together and than disappeared and re-appeared and following each other, when a cloud would appear, they would go toward the cloud and would be above the cloud out of sight.

Chino, California - A Round Gold Colored UFO

Time: 11:48 p.m.
I was laying in bed and saw a round gold colored light. Thinking it was an airplane, I kept watching. It didn't pass as quickly as a plane or helicopter. It almost hesitated then kept going. I told my husband "that's weird" so he looked. He watched it for a couple minutes then ran outside. The light got really bright then disappeared completely. The light came back on to normal so we tried to gab the camera. By the time we got it, the light was completely gone. Afterwards a couple planes flew by near where it was, so definitely not a plane!

Port Erin, Isle of Man - An Orange Circular Light
Date: February 14, 2009
Time: Approx. 10:30 p.m.
Standing outside the Cherry Orchard Hotel I saw in the distance an orange circular light in the low sky heading from Port Erin bay. It travelled directly towards the hotel and as it neared it was rather like a glowing orange football. It passed over the hotel at no great speed and I called two other people to witness the event. It carried straight on not turning left or right or higher/lower and I watched it until it went out of sight. I am used to seeing aircraft over head at night which are quite distinctive in the lighting arrangements and this not fit a description of that. No sound what so ever accompanied the sighting, also the Isle of Man airport is closed at this time of night.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. I checked out the web site you mentioned prior to reporting the sighting and feel certain that my sighting was not a ufo balloon. The sighting I witnessed was purely circular and was moving through the sky at a steady speed with no deviation in its trajectory. I watched the object for approximately 3 minutes from coming into sight until disappearing from my vision. A possible coincidence happened the 16th February when a colleague of my son who lives in Somerset was out with his young son just as it was dark and saw a very similar sight in the evening sky to what I had seen. Described by him as a completely circular shape orange/red in colour passed over Yeovil. Joe described it as a football shaped orange/red ball with no accompanying sound.

Corvallis, Oregon - UFO Falling Comes To A Hover

Time: 9:00 p.m.
I was outside on the back porch, the sky was very clear and looking west at the stars with Venus to the SW. Suddenly a round, bright white, a somewhat bluish light appeared about ten degrees N of due west at around 50 degrees above the horizon. It was nearly twice as bright/large as Venus which I could see to the SW. It descended rapidly straight down as soon as it appeared, did not leave a trail of any sort, brightness and size increased slightly and in around 4 seconds got to about a thumb and half's width at arms length above the horizon over the low hills to the west. At this point, it stopped descending and a tight, short, rainbow-like cone appeared on the trailing side, but the cone was not much longer than the object was wide. The colors reminded me of soft neon lights. It hovered for almost two seconds, cone and all, before suddenly disappearing, like turning out a light. Distance was hard to judge, but I'd guess that at the point where it stopped above the horizon it was ~15 or 20 miles away.
Two nights later around 22:30 PST, another clear night, another light appeared at nearly the same position in the west as before, and was moving at about the same pace as before but traveling ESE, going almost overhead. It just suddenly disappeared, no cone this time, about 45 deg. above the horizon to the SE. The altitude seemed higher than a commercial plane, and it wasn't quite as bright, as if it were further away maybe. It was visible for a total of around 8 or 10 seconds.
I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic so I have a good familiarity with flying craft. I couldn't explain these two events as either a meteor or satellite so thought I'd submit them here.

Romford Essex UK - A Huge Bright Orange Light

I have just read some reports of a huge bright orange light over Loughton Essex In 2005. I live In Romford Essex just a few miles away from Loughton. Last Monday evening 16 March '09 at 20.00hrs, I was looking into the cloudless sky from my living room and watching a number of planes circling above in a stacking bay waiting to land at Heathrow airport. Suddenly a huge bright orange light appeared in the sky, much lower than the stacking planes and perhaps even lower than the planes that I could also see that had just taken off from London City airport.
The orange light was shaped like an upright barrel. I ran out to my back garden with my partner and my 12 year old son. We captured the light on a run of the mill digital camera and on my sons mobile phone (video) but neither image is convincing. Travelling from the south, it then turned east virtually above my house and then seemed to increase in speed. It then just disappeared as if someone had turned of a light. Its speed was faster than any of the aircraft that we could see. I telephoned Sky News but they thought I was crazy. (surprise, surprIse). I also called London City airport to see if any of their pilots had reported the sighting but again, they thought I was mad. We know what we saw and it definitely wasn't an aeroplane, airship or a balloon. It was an experience that we will never forget.

Town Of Russell, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin - A Gray Silver UFO

My mom, dad, sister, and I had gone out to see a space launch, but I had only a pair of binoculars since it would take to long to set up a telescope. My sister had thought she had seen it, so I took a look, and sure enough, there was something there. There was one thing that made me think of extra terrestrials-there was no jet stream or fire/smoke coming out of the back. At first I had believed that I was crazy, but I have had this feeling before and when I feel it, it usually meant it'd be best to run. So the space launch had been supposed to be seen in the south, but I then saw the real space shuttle and at the moment it was flying strait over head going north while staying at the same altitude which was only a little higher than an airplane's flight path. This whatever-it-is was a grayish silver, but it seemed like it was emitting light while it had something like craters or black lights (they were blurry) on it. Don't say it was a meteor, because it wasn't even singed. This was fast, but if it was a meteor, I wouldn't have been able to focus on it so good.

UFO Stops And Moves In A Circular and Zig Zag Movement Over Louisiana

It appeared to be moving in a straight path at a steady speed, so I assumed immediately that it was a satellite. To my amazement it picked up speed dramatically. Stop and did circular, zigzag, rapid movements in a fixed area in the sky. By this time I had already called my brother to come out onto the roof as we observed this 'object' for the next 30 minutes.

UFO Makes Unusual Maneuver Over Newtimber, West Sussex, England

I was sitting down outside having a ciggie and I noticed a really bright plane (or so I thought) light in front of me. It was so bright, it made the light look diamond shaped. I kept watching as it was a very bright light (which would mean the plane should be coming towards me) but realized it was actually travelling from west to east in front of me. I then noticed it didn't have any plane undercarriage or wing lights flashing and there was no noise. I then noticed it was travelling faster than a plane should be at that altitude (we live around 25 miles from Gatwick airport so planes do pass by). I then started to get excited as I have never seen a UFO. Then the light started to travel upwards very fast (still in an easterly direction) towards the stars and disappeared before my eyes. The night was clear and starry with no moon, I was sober and there was no wind or other witnesses. What next?

Lafayette, Indiana - Two Orange Round UFOs

Time: 8:30 p.m.
Two orange round objects in the sky East of I-65 along State Rd 26 East. The two objects flashed back and forth almost like they were communicating. Both would light up solid and then one at a time they would flash. At the end of the sighting the two lights took off in a horizontal direction like tracer fire (8-10 tracers)and then disappeared. There was no sound and no vertical movement. The objects hovered over a distant tree line before disappearing.

Delphi, Indiana 15 To 16 Orange - Red Colored Lights/Objects

We live out in the country and were coming home at 9:20 pm. I saw in the sky at about 2 o'clock a large perfectly round red orange object. I was looking east. It disappeared and another appeared. This happened 6 or 7 times traveling south then nothing for a couple of seconds. Then 7 or 8 appeared in a row at about 10 o'clock traveling south to north. This string of objects moved like an inch worm and disappeared at the same time. My husband got out of the truck to listen for any sounds . There were none. It was a beautiful site.

Kanata, Ontario Canada - A Cylindrical UFO

Time: Approx: 11:50 p.m.
My girlfriend, my friend and I were in my hot tub in the backyard (no we weren't drinking alcohol or doing drugs and the hot tub jets were off). I love to watch the sky at night and frequently see planes flying at various altitudes and going in different directions. This was very different so I had to report and research it.
I saw the cylindrical object fly directly overhead around 11:50pm and immediately pointed it out to the other 2 people present. My girlfriend could not see it before it disappeared over the neighboring house, but my friend could (it was very faint in the night sky). It had 2 red dim lights on the belly that were not flashing at the front and back of the object and it was moving very quickly across the sky from west to east. There was no sound before, during, or after the fly-by so I immediately thought it was a high-flying plane but the lights were dim red and spaced far enough apart that I knew it was closer to the ground. It was also moving much too fast to be a high plane. The sound from the engine was expected but nothing could be heard at all. We tried to justify what we saw and explain it but we could not.
I am hoping someone has an explanation for what we saw because I am sure it was not a plane or a helicopter. It was silent and low-flying and had no flashing lights to mark the wings like planes do.
