Henley Beach, Adelaide Australia Green Light Streaks Through The Sky

Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Just a quick sighting. I was sitting out the back of my parents house having a chat with the whole family when all off a sudden I saw a green light shoot across the sky quite low, around about the height of landing approach for airplanes. I stood up to get a better look and I told everyone to get up with me, but it had disappeared. The next morning I went online to check if anyone else saw the same thing, but found nothing.

Coatbridge/North Lanarkshire/Scotland - 12 Red Lights/Objects
Date: December 24, 2008
Time: 6:00 p.m.

My brother and I were in my house, I live in a high rise flat and can see most of lanarkshire from my kitchen window. We spotted a massive bright light in the sky south from us, we watched for a while trying to figure out what it was but could not think of anything logical it could be, it is there a lot now but not every night. I am surprised no one else has reported this as it is very noticeable and is thee most nights still to this day. Also if you look closely at it, it appears to be changing colour every so often.

At the same time this was in the air we also witnessed many other smaller red lights in the air, in about a 15 minute period we seen about 12 of these. they may have been airliners but there were a lot in the sky at one time and sometimes they appeared to be not moving at all.

Thanks, but it is definetly not a balloon I seen, other suggestions have been that it is a satelite reflecting the sun? Like I said it is there quite often, I shall try to get a picture or video of it.

Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, England - Four Round Yellowish Lights
Date: December 24, 2009
Time: 11:30 p.m.

My son and I saw the light fairly low in the sky moving towards us as we walked on the common. It moved slowly towards us and we realized it had no flashing lights as a plane would have had and it was totally silent as it passed right overhead. We watched it for about five minutes in total as it crossed the sky. The light was more yellowish than white.

Worthing, England - Ten To Twelve Object/Lights
Date: December 31, 2008/January 1, 2009
Time: Around Midnight

I too saw the display in Worthing on New Year's Eve. I watched them through binoculars and am certain that someone was letting off 'fire balloons'. They rose in batches, then a few stray singles followed. They were very beautiful and eerie, floating over. The wind currents can make them drift, stop then suddenly shoot off. I think 90% of the 'orange orbs' mentioned round Xmas and New Year are these.

HOWEVER - some might not be! The frequency with which people are reporting probable fire balloons may be the result of an attempt to fuzz the UFO/et issue. But it might have the opposite effect, as more people think they've seen a UFO or UFOs and are then more open to having an actual sighting. Keep watching the skies! The next lot might be genuine.

---------- East Orange, New Jersey - A Round Orange Light Hovering

Today my husband and I were driving on Tremont Avenue in East Orange. We saw two 2 acquaintances and stopped to talk. As we talked, they kept gazing into the sky. My husband asked why and he was told that for the past month, they have observed a round orange light hovering in the sky (southeast towards Nwk Airport) which could be seen day or night. One asked if my husband had seen it. He replied no. I personally have not seen anything, however we live near Veterans Hospital and sometimes hear helicopter traffic. I have noticed that the dogs in our area were losing their minds last month with uncontrolled barking. Our dog participates, and although he barks at anything walking near the house, this bark is different and not that of fire trucks or ambulances racing by, its all weird.

Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England - UFO Triangular In Shape
Date: January 13, 2009
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Bright light spotted hovering in air for a good 30 mins or so at 7pm ish. At first we could just see 1 light but when zoomed in it gave off different colours. After trying to focus the lens I noticed it looked triangular shape. It was moving very slowly put staying in the same area. We filmed it with 2 camera phones 3.2m/p and 5m/p the better camera produced a pulsing effect. Were also viewing it with a night vision scope and binoculars. We seen what looked like helicopters flying around now and then nearby as the distinctive lights gave us the impression that's what they were. We noticed it was getting lower but this was very, very slow. The craft was near the location of the quarry next to farmers field which I know off the back of my hand. We popped next door for a short time, came back about 9.45 and it had gone.

Hull, England - Moon-Sized Hovering UFO
Date: January 14, 2009
Time: Approx: 9:45 p.m.

Driving home from work I stopped at the traffic lights on the edge of the city. Looking above the buildings I could see what I first thought was a huge moon, luminous, orange or sepia coloured. It hung in the sky and was so big that I thought it was a barrage balloon lit up by lights. As the traffic lights changed I moved off but could see the shape still above the buildings (to my right). I turned right but the object suddenly went off moving at such a speed as to cause me to think I'd not seen it in the first place. Was it a UFO, certainly it was unidentified and several other people appear to have seen it (including a TV presenter) that evening but no mention of it appeared in the local newspaper. The image will stay with me forever.

Port Coquitlam, British Columbia - Bright UFO Moves Upward From A Hover

Time: 6:30 - 7:00 p.m.

I was on our patio last night around 6:30pm and this very large bright light in the sky was hovering. The shape was sphere-like with colored lights circling it. (blue, red and yellow). It was hovering for about 20 minutes, then it started to move straight up slowly into the clouds. I ran upstairs to find my husband and he saw it too from our bedroom window. I asked him if weather balloons had lights he said he didn't think so and was blown away by what he had seen. "We are not alone".

Northeast Baltimore, Maryland - Glowing Red And Orange Object With Tail
Date: February 1, 2009
Time: 5:55 a.m.

This looked like a comet. I saw one back in the eighties. But I can't say for sure what this was. It was like a star, bright white only with a fiery tail glowing red and orange and with a thin white line streaking behind the fire. It was moving fast but not as fast as a shooting star. It was moving much slower then a shooting star. It came out of the northern sky and flew to the south. It was high in the night sky when I first saw it. I watched it for about five or ten seconds while it dropped in altitude then it seemed to burned out and was no longer visible. I don't remember seeing any clouds in the sky so I can't estimate the altitude. The sky was dark and mostly clear.

Buckfast And Plymouth Sound, England - Strange Light Disappears And Then Reappears

Date: February 2, 2009
Time: Approx: 8:00 p.m.

Myself and two work colleges saw a strange moving white light on the way back from Exeter this evening. We sighted it at 8pm around Buckfast and it followed the A38 to around the Plympton turn off where it got a lot smaller as it sped off and incredible speed (turning blue/green as it did). We though it was a helicopter as first but it began to move toward and away from us extremely quick and we heard no noise from it. It dived down to tree level and back up again. It had no turning arc it just changed direction. It then re-appeared over the Plymouth sound direction and moved slowly toward Mount Batten. I called my wife and she saw it from Home (Staddiscombe) as it hung stationary over Mount Batten. My Apprentice filmed the light on his mobile phone, I have asked him to upload it to facebook. Four of us saw this and we all agreed this was not manmade object we have ever seen. I just watched the Lincolnshire UFO video online for the first time. It was very similar to light we saw.

Eke, Belgium - Two Red/Orange Fireballs
Date: February 3, 2009
Time: 8:52 p.m.

Two red/orange fireballs without tail moving from SSW to NNE. Very bright light, like a rounded candle flame that just got lit. Moving with a continuous speed, horizontally in the night sky. At one time, the second object seemed to stand still for a couple of seconds, moving a bit from left to right and back. And then continued it's way afterwards to disappear in the far sky. My girlfriend saw two or three tinier balls underneath the second object. I didn't catch those one's. We were standing two streets away from each other.

Can't have been a plane because I saw them from pretty up close, and these weren't the landing lights of a plane ! The object was bigger compared to a plane that would be at the same distance and height.

Williamsburg, Virginia - Silver Diamond Shaped UFO A Burst Of Light And It Was Gone

I think I saw another UFO yesterday – Silver Diamond Shape then there was a bright burst of light and it was gone. It was at least 3 miles up and small. Now, keep in mind president Obama is here in my neighborhood and that is exactly where I saw it. Could you tell me if anyone else has reported anything in Williamsburg Virginia yesterday about 3:00 pm? They sky has been so clear – no chem. trails either. Lots of black helicopters though.

Leasowe, Wirral, Merseyside, England - Round Bright Orange Object
Date: February 6 and 8, 2009
Time: 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Looking out towards West Kirby, myself my fiancée, my father and my mother watched the same round bright orange object that was described by somebody from the West Kirby area last month. It was very bright then would dim to the size of a pin head then flare up again. We used night vision binoculars to look at it and could see a dark dot in the middle that would roll around it, it was like a white pool ball with the dot in the middle rolling over and over. The second night it seemed to break in to two then reform itself, then change to an ovular shape and back again. Both sightings lasted between half an hour and 45 minutes.I will keep you updated if it comes back again.
