Many years ago when I was around 5 years old or so ( 30 now) , I seen what had looked like a spotlight but the beam seemed to move in intervals. It was out in the mountains of Falkland B.C. It was at around a 45 deg. ang. and seemed to be going up. I remember it being there for a long time (10-15 min) and going away when my mother came, then suddenly re-appearing a few min after she left for about another 5 min. or so. I do not at all remember seeing a source at all but light seemed to go nowhere, almost stopping in the air into darkness. It was like a 2 ft. daiameter spotlight that stayed in parallel lines and pulsed towards the sky. I think of this now speaking to a friend and realized to this day I have never seen this replicated by any other light source I've seen.

HBCC UFO Research Note: I am planning to give the lady a call and find out what else she has been or gone through as she tells me there has been a fair bit and hard to put into an email. Also I have heard from numerous folks who have told me they have personally witnessed very unusual crafts, lights, circles in some of the fields, etc.. in the Finger Lakes Region. I have just recently allowed myself to start discussing these things openly, so I don't know how well I can do via e-mail - I will try my best. Most recently, I have seen strange things here over Seneca Lake. I moved here about 4 months ago, and I believe that there is a fair amount of activity here. I have witnessed two different things. The most recent was the multi colored flashing craft that I saw from my front yard. I watched it for well over 40 minutes, it was hovering over the national forest. This was about 2 weeks ago. (November 2005)
The other sighting here was my first week in my new house. I was standing in my front yard with a friend, and he pointed straight up into the sky. What I say was cigar shaped, and very large. It seemed low, but I heard no noise. It was moving north, the bottom of it had white lights all around it. We watched it until we could no longer see it.
I have had some other experiences in this area, but not on the lake. I am actually very happy that you responded to my email so quickly. In the last 2 weeks, I have begun to put a few things together, and I don't know what to do about it.In the countryside near Corning, NY (about 20 miles from Seneca Lake) I rented a small house in Hornby, NY. My family is from the area, and my mother still lives there. I was asleep one night and woke up, laying still, I looked around to see what awakened me. I felt nervous, my daughter was asleep in her room, and I didn't want to get up. All of a sudden, there was a very bright light coming in from my kitchen door window. It seemed to flood the house. The light moved, from that window around the house to the windows over the sink, until it was pouring in every window. This seems to have happened very quickly. All I remember was thinking, oh - that is what woke me up. I have no other memory of it at all. I told my mother about it, and she told me that as far back as she could remember, her mom (my grandmother) used to sit in their farmhouse living-room (atop a very high hill) and watch the sky for "the lights".
What else, the scarier things. About 6 years ago, I lived in Cape Coral, Florida. I was asleep in my house that I shared with my boyfriend there. I woke up abruptly to him on top of me. Long story short, his voice wasn't his. He kept saying "do not fight" and trying to have intercourse with me. I finally was able to push him off me, and he rolled over apparently asleep. Obviously, I was very disturbed. The next morning, I was at work confiding this to a friend. A co-worker came in and asked us if we has seen the "lights". Apparently, on the night in question there were numerous sightings over the canals in our town. Our house backed up to one of these canals. It was all over the radio news that morning, and on the TV that night. My boyfriend had absolutely no recollection of the event, and was himself disturbed at my experience.
What else can I tell you? These are the major things. I also have had some rather serious experiences of the more ghostly paranormal kind. I am not sure if that is at all in your realm. If you would prefer to speak over that phone, just let me know. I also would like to say that I am a professional person, and I am no longer able to keep these things penned up inside. I want to try to get it all out in the open and maybe help someone.

Coming home from fishing at Murphysboro Lake one hot summer dusk (August 1994) my friends and I came within extremely close proximity to a very large pyramidal type black ship. The first strange thing started when I was gazing out the window into the eastern sky as we had just decided to take the back roads back to Herrin from Murpysboro Lake. I believe it was myself who first pipe up about the strange "star" that seemed to be shadowing us from a sort of strategic defense posture. It was hovering over a field in the east 200-300 feet of the ground, 100- 200 yards away. The object was spherical, pulsating, "orbing" and began to shift to an orangish, yellowish, goldish "orbing". I notified my friends that something strange seemed to be keeping pace with us for some reason.
That's not a star. My friend says, yeah I see it too. My two other friends are also in the car. Sam is the driver. As we approached a "T" in the road up ahead we decided we should attempt to cut off the pulsating light ahead by making a right turn to the east. As we made the right turn I was transfixed by the object of light and ever so unexpectedly the light turn right exactly when we did and maintained an exact parallel course to us after "shadowing" us for one minute or two more the object seemed to be advancing on our position. The light became brighter and went out of sight for a moment. We realized in a second or two that it went over our heads ever so silently. At this point we stopped the car on the side of the road and got outside. We looked north in to a wooded valley, 100 yards away or so. We could clearly see that something had landed in the forest.
It appeared to be a large pyramidal structure that was very much stable. It seemed impossible that such a large structure could exist in those woods, because the trees were to dense 80-100 year old oak and hickory trees. You could see that the forest was dense but the object was not. There was a silver strobe light at the apex of this pyramid structure flashing at a quick rate as if charging up. The light was lighting up the entire forest. We were observing this from about seventy to a 100 yards away and about 20 30 feet from the north side of the road. My friend pipes up and says, lets go meet the aliens. We thought about it for like one second and decided unanimously that we should leave considering that we know that there was a large pyramid type craft. The size of which could be the size of a large house or more. We decided we had to at least tell somebody about this and see if we could make any sense of what it is and what it's intentions were.
We were very worked up about this but in a very solemn, oh heck sort of way. We knew a friend who lived in that area of those back roads named John. I don't know his last name but I do know that he is a well known mechanic in the area and we went to his place sort of at the beginning of Cambrias western back roads, so about a mile or two west of that is where the craft landed. We raced off to John's place, he has a pond outside his country auto shop. We tell John he's got some crazy stuff flying around his backyard, and that a UFO just landed a mile or two that way in a wooded valley. Another man was present and we told them both that we should go outside to check it out, because they would for sure see one or it. So all six of us are standing out by his pond facing the north western sky in the direction it had landed. For 3-5 minutes we stood scanning the sky, I was looking east when I felt a presence on the left side of my head northwest. I turned and looked up at an object about 100 - 150 feet above our heads and about 200 feet NW of our location. The ship was a triangular shaped craft when viewed from the underside as it floated silently closer.
There were three amber, yellow colored lights. One at each apex of the triangular underside of the ship. There was one large diameter circular bluish white light in the center of the underside, which cast light directly down in a tube. There was what I call a search light scanning the area and lighting up the surrounding trees as the craft lit up the ground, trees, and us in a sweeping grazing motions. The craft came to a pause directly above us at about 75 feet, it was completely silent and the size of about 3/4 of a football field. Looking up the side of the craft, it ascends at peak about a 75-100 feet above the base of the craft. The craft seemed to lack solidity while at same time being solid halfway to the top of the craft seemed to be a slit that appeared to be windows. I could see light in the windows of an amber color and shadows moving within. I knew there were "people" of some kind in that craft. There was a red light zinging around the pyramid structure, approx: 50 feet above the base of this triangular pyramid dark metal, but dull as if sucking in light. At the apex of this structure I could see the silver strobe that had been lighting up the woods. It is my opinion that this ship can somehow shift, or phase from place to place and can exist in the same place at different times.
I don't know exactly how long the craft hovered above us, it could have been 20 seconds to a couple minutes. We couldn't really believe what we were seeing, but we were being forced to. This thing had intentions for us that night, I am sure of it, just by it's behavior alone. This event changed my life forever. I would never look at the world the same again and the contacts kept happening in the area for over 4 or five years. I had a few more sightings, not as close as the others but still the same triangular craft near Herrin cemetery year or two later. A gentleman was ahead of me in his car and I saw a UFO,, same type triangular floating above us a 100 feet or so. I pull him over, he gets out and says he doesn't know what that is and it fly's away ever so silently and darkly. Anyway there were many incidents that multiple witnesses were either chased or shadowed by these type of UFOs. I have waking dreams were I am paralyzed by an invisible presence in the room and could feel a sensation of being pulled off of the bed I was sleeping on. I have been attacked in these waking dreams frequently at my mother and fathers residence in the past. My grandfather who built the house said in the forties or so he saw something fly over the yard in broad daylight and did not make a noise. My grandmother said a glowing ball of "fire" came into her living room through a closed window and went back out that same window after buzzing around the room. My grandfather on my mothers side would curse "demons" at his bedside and was thoroughly obsessed with the devil.
P.S. - The exact dates of these occurrences are unknown but possibly could be ascertained or delivered through research and interview if needed (main event occurred in August 1994, all of my sightings occurred from 1993 - 1998 or so) waking dreams occurred more frequently in mother and fathers house around may- August 2000-- grandpa dads side flying house sighting 30's or 40's can be corroborated by other family that said he told them about it as well--grandpa moms side took mom and dad to weird people 1977 or so --- cursed "demons" at the foot of his bed for sure in the 80's and probably his whole life.

Traveling to a night class on a Friday evening last April I witnessed an anomalous a Horizontal Rainbow Strip visible for several minutes in the Northwest direction just prior to entering Cedarville by car. I learned last Thursday night after attending a different night class that another graduate student also saw this from another location in Wilberforce. His description exactly matched mine. He described it as a strip of Fruit Flavored Striped Gum. Visibility was excellent, there were no rain clouds and the humidity was low. I am reporting this to see if anyone else saw it! That direction is on line with Wright-Pat which is due West, probably 40-50 miles distant!

Anyway back to the UFO incident I have a very rough picture of the original picture snapped with a digital camera just a few days ago. My sister is good friends not only with the witness who took the picture that I have seen but her boyfriend is also good friends with other 1st hand witnesses who were at the restaurant. I will try to get him to contact these people and see what they have to say. I got some more information on the incident and found out that the location of the restaurant is in Pointe-des-Cascades Qc. if I am not mistaken (it's called sunnies restaurant). Apparently there were people there with video cameras as well. I was trying to attach the picture of the picture that I have but I can't seem to find it on my computer at the moment which is ironically inconvenient but if you have msn messenger you can add this address and see a smaller version of it while chatting to me. Like I described in my previous correspondence the incident occurred around 6:30 pm in the late summer of this year hence the photo has the appearance of being taken during the sunset. Furthermore this is a pic of a pic hence it is fairly dark and the shape of the top of the shuttle on a flatbed it derisible but not much else. My sister's good friend who has the original pic says that the name of the flatbed company who towed it is visible in the picture hence perhaps you could inquire as to what the deal is with this situation through them once I get a hold of that info.

Wanted to tell you about an interesting event that happened here in Redding Sunday night. I myself did not witness it, because I had my back to it at the time, but my significant other did, and many other Redding residents, as was noted in the local paper the following day! Apparently what happened (and what my sweetheart saw) was a HUGE and brilliant flash of light in the north western sector of the night sky, bright enough to light the entire sky from horizon to horizon as if, if were daylight. I was crocheting in the recliner and had my back to the picture window that faces that direction and so did not see it, but he was talking to me and stopped mid sentence to go "Holy cow, what the heck was that ?!"
It is being written off by the paper as a fireball (though that information is based solely on the opinion of one individual.... an astronomy teacher at the local community college who did not even witness the event !), but several Redding residents witnessed it, and one woman said she saw an ovoid shaped golden "vessel" slowing descending in the night sky just prior to the "even". She found it strange and beautiful and a bit scary, and right on it's heels came the momentous flash of light. Strange things in the skies of Redding.

Time: Daylight sightings
Here I am in San Marcos in the evening of a normal day. I received a new pair of good German binoculars in the mail yesterday and put them to good use on little breaks at work today. I had two sightings. One at a great distance of a dark object that moved in a random way, disappeared and reappeared, to make more random movements then disappearing against a partly cloudy background. The second was closer and was a drifting saucer shape, bright, and though closer than the first, still at quite a height and distance. I watched it drifting against the direction of the clouds movements for a minute, then attempted to increase my focus to higher power, and lost it.
A huge amount of chemtrail sprayings in the past two days may have a relationship to sightings.
These were daylight sightings and took no more great effort than looking up through my new binoculars and maybe 10 minutes of looking total. What if you could spend a whole day just glassing the skies? Observation of visible shape in daylight is far more definitive than "lights" in the sky. All a person has to do is look up! If you can discipline yourself for even a little time to focus on the sky above, I'm confident that any person can enjoy daylight sightings of UFO's. I am so confident of sightings, the moniker "UFO" seems dated.
The sightings I've made recently were unidentified. The "flying" part of the UFO acronym is less than correct because known aerodynamic principles are not followed by these visible objects in the air. The binocular is the best tool so far to have a sighting without any doubt. I hope more people will get some and use them. Even casual observations will result in sightings! I'm using 8x30 binoculars and there are far more powerful options available at low cost. Lastly, I have 8 co-worker friends, friends that are working at YPG this week (Yuma Proving Grounds) I can hardly wait to query them about sightings they may have had. What some might label as kooky or far fetched, realities are normal for me. Oh well, that's my burden but I can handle it. If someone thinks I'm in la la land, tough cookies for them. The level of trust that I have earned by competency and ethical behavior is so great that most never have the chance to earn the respect I have, and it's been 30 plus years in the making. few, can imagine the trust one individual can enjoy. I hope to convey this trust in my reports.
I am writing to let you know I'm not letting my focus on the skies falter. I hope to have a sighting soon at near distance, like my report of 08 May 2005. Photo evidence is very common, so capturing an image is no big deal to me, and I expect to get more film or digital images before long.
