ISTAMBUL - An identified flying object was sighted and filmed for the second time in ten days in the Turkish province of Mersin, reported a spokesperson for the local police via the Anatolia press agency.
According to Suleyman Ekizer, director of security in Mersin, the UFO made its first appearance over an industrial zone for an hour and 20 minutes during the night of July 19/20.
This morning it reappeared at 3:30 local time near a refinery in the same region, and flew over the zone for two hours before disappearing in the sky. The police official confirmed that the UFO has now been filmed twice.

Un objeto volante no identificado (OVNI) fue avistado y filmado en el plazo dos veces en un espacio de diez días en la provincia turca de Mersin, declaró hoy a la prensa un responsable de la policía local, citado por la agencia Anatolia.
Según Suleyman Ekizer, director adjunto de seguridad de Mersin, el OVNI hizo una primera aparición bajo de una zona industrial durante una hora y 20 minutos en la noche del 19 al 20 de julio. Esta mañana reapareció a las 3:30 horas locales (2:30 hora peninsular española) sobre una refinería de la misma región, y sobrevoló la zona durante dos horas antes de desaparecer en el cielo, afirmó el oficial de policía, que precisó que el OVNI ha sido filmado las dos veces.
"Nuestros agentes han anunciado que un OVNI rojo oscuro con tonos amarillos-verdes, de forma circular, que emitía luces y en constante movimiento, apareció (...) en el cielo durante dos horas" declaró Ekizer, según Anatolia. Estas apariciones han sido transmitidas a los centros turcos de investigación espacial, añadió la agencia.
