Back in 1986, I saw a huge craft that looked like a Black Triangle or Boomerang.

I was 17 years of age and resided in Sunnybank, Queensland, Australia.

It was after a large dry storm had passed that myself and a friend decided to lie on the back lawn and look up at the stars. Half-an-hour had passed and it was just after dusk when my friend stopped talking, in mid-sentence.

I noticed a massive shape appear from the overhead clouds. It was black and triangular in shape, like a huge wing. It moved silently and very slowly. Almost like a hot air balloon in drift.

This object was, I guess, only a hundred or so feet above my head. It would have been 60 - 100 feet across. No lights. I remember that it was so strange how it moved so very slowly.

On its belly, I could see what looked like plate joints. It looked solid - I know this sounds weird - but, as it passed overhead it seemed to fade a little so that we could see stars faintly through it.

This whole pass lasted about 15 seconds. A long time for me!

It passed over the house and we raced around the front only to see it pass over the surrounding houses.

Thinking that EVERYONE in the suburb would have seen in, we were so very excited. We looked for it on the news and in the papers. Nothing was reported.

To this day, I am amazed and haunted by this memory. To date, this is the only time that I have witnessed such a thing.
