ENCOUNTER WITH A GHOST

I've been a reader of this site for about a year now. I've finaly decided to tell someone about this story besides my closest friends.

(all names are changed in this story)
It all started when my good friend, almost my brother "John" as we shall call him, was moving out of his house. He found a decently priced apartment and found 2 room mates. Before they had moved anything into there he wanted me to check it out. So excitedly I wanted to check out the place I would probably be spending most of my time at. He opened the door to the living room and dining room. He proceeded to show me around, I remembered it being really comfortable in the living room temperature wise. We walked down the hallway right past the heater and I felt the temperature drop.

At this time in my life I was a Christian, and also studying theology with intent to become a pastor at some time in my life. I was skeptical about ghosts because I didn't believe it was possible. Anyhow back to the story.

I walked into the master bedroom which was his of course, since he was the main name on the lease. I remember looking around and thinking how cool, I can't wait 'til I can move out. Then it hit me.. the door was open in the room and it was warm, but the hallway was FREEZING. We walked about of the room, and I asked him. "Hey, why is it so cold next to the heating unit?" He looked at me strangely and told me "Uhh.. dude its like 75 in here" I started thinking to myself maybe im getting sick. Then he showed me one of the other rooms and it was also very warm, about 75 degrees. So we walked back out into the hallway, and he turned around and goes. "Heres your room!" jokingly he opened up the closet. The temperature immediatly dropped even lower.

Here comes the part I have no explanation for.

I frozen instantly, I felt a rush of emotion run over my mind and body. I felt like I had been struck several times in the legs and stomach. I was only paused for about 5 seconds. To my internal clock it felt like 15 minutes. My eyes began to tear up, and I looked at my friend "John" and he looked completely puzzled. I said to him, "Uh... I feel weird dude.. I don't know whats going on but my eyes wont stop watering!" He started to look a little freaked out. So we went passed the hallway and it felt like I was dead, my hands and feet and face were so cold and my eyes began to tear up even more and I began to hold myself in a tight hug. We walked out to the living room and my head and neck jerked to the right. Looking out the sliding glass door to the deck I felt a rush of fear come over me that wasn't mine. Inside I had felt like I had been taken advantage of.. sort of sexually, I don't know. My eyes were still tearing up like I was bawling. I was displaying no emotion tho, only inside. After about 8 seconds of struggling I finally pulled my neck and eyes to the left and I saw what appeared to be a white slip sort of dress pass through the wall/closet area near the dining room table. I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran out of there with him.

Days later, still not telling anyone what happened, my friend Mike moved back into town. He was going to be the other room mate. He called his mom after he got his stuff moved in and told her the name of the apartment buildings. She replied to him in broken english, "Ohh.. thats the place with the girl in white!"

I swear up and down that everything I have written above is written to the best of my memory. Since then I am now an active researcher for ghosts and UFO's.

My family has had a long history of ghost stories, including my great grandma who is now 101. She survived a car accident into a river and saw her husband who had passed away a year later, and he opened the locks for her. Now it looks like I have one lol.
