I think I have had two close encounters of the third kind, when I worked in a logging camp on Vancouver island. My father was a foreman and I stayed in camp over the winter shut-down, alone in a bunk house. I have read two of Whitley Strieber's books on close encounters, and a couple of things came back to me. I remember waking up thinking that I had been shot in the head(the memory blocker). This happend on two different occasions. One night I woke up with voices telling me to go to a place outside of the logging camp that I was working, this was quite a bit later, and I was half way out the door in my shorts when the voice told me that I didn't have to go just at that moment. By then I was wide awake, and wondering what was going on, it was about 3am.
Later, probably a couple of months, I was driving my truck over the part of the road that I was trying to get to from previous instructions, when I noticed a Light coming up behind me and thinking it was another vehicle I pulled over. Nothing passed me and when I looked back there was nothing there. It was later that day when I discover I had been stopped ther for over half an hour. I have no idea why.
This all happend about twenty years ago. I still think about it. I reported It to the BC Mufon network after I read Strieber's books, but that was the only time I told someone about until now.
