GHOSTHUNTERS could be set to descend on an Orford park after a ghostly apparition was spotted enjoying the start of British summertime.
Catherine Marr of Kendal Avenue, Orford, was with friends in Peel Hall Park demonstrating her mobile phone's video recording facility.
But when the 14-year-old played back one of the short films she had recorded, she was shocked to see the hazy figure of a man who hadn't been there when she was filming.
Catherine's mum, Jenny, said: "They shrieked and ran away when they played the video back and saw the figure. It looks like someone sitting on a log holding something.
"The girls were really spooked by what they saw. They've shown it to me and the figure is pretty clear to see. They certainly didn't hang about to see if it reappeared."
