LONG-TOOTHED PHANTOM CALLS

Trembling with fear workers restorning a former old hen house claim to have seen a long-toothed ghostly phantom.

The building, located in Nueva de Lyon 0129, Providence [Chile], belongs to TV chef Rodrigo Barañao, of Channel 13's morning, show and he too has had encounters with the paranormal.

"Once I stayed there to sleep and half way through the night I found the phantom threw a chain", said the gourmet cook.

Work inside the premises began about a month ago, but reconstruction started last June.

"Since we rebuilt the premises, the ghost has dedicated itself to bothering us; things fall, and there are noises", said the owner.

For some 20 workers of the bowling alley it has forced them go to the second floor, that so far serves as warehouse. "I don't turn off the light or to go to look for something on my own; I go with two or three companions ", said garzón.

Barañao added that "the worse thing that happened was when a client went to the bath and found everything wet because something had zamarreado [?] it".

An attempt was made to try and rid the building if the phamtom's presence. Paula González told the chef there was something unusual there,

The scared workers have many theories about who it is that walks among them.

According to local legend, a family who lived there amd died in tragic circumstances after the husband killed his wife, two daughters and then committed suicide.

Another version speaks of a man who killed the lover of his wife. But garzones, barman and Barañao, believe that the phantom that scares them is the old owner who hanged himself on the second floor.

Con las cañuelas tembleques andan los trabajadores del restorán "Fuera de Borda", quienes aseguran que un fantasma más pálido que beso de geisha. El local, ubicado en Nueva de Lyon 0129, Providencia, pertenece al chef de "Viva la Mañana" de Canal 13, Rodrigo Barañao, al que también se le han erizado los pelos. "Una vez me quedé a dormir y a mitad de la noche me empezaron a mover y al rato después tiraron la cadena", dijo el gourmet.

El local comenzó a funcionar hace un mes, pero desde junio pasado se trabajan en la reconstrucción. Según cuentan, desde un principio el gasparín dejó a todos con los pantalones abajo.

"Desde que reconstruimos el local, el fantasma se ha dedicado a molestarnos; se caen cosas, hay ruidos. Incluso hay clientes que lo han visto", verseó el dueño.
A los 20 trabajadores del boliche se les hace así ir al segundo piso, que por ahora sirve de bodega. "Yo ya no subo sólo para apagar la luz o ir a buscar algo; voy con dos o tres compañeros", dijo un garzón.

Barañao agregó que "lo peor que pasó cuando un cliente fue al baño y llegó todo mojado porque algo lo había zamarreado. Según él, vio una sombra y salió corriendo".

A tratar de "limpiar" el local concurrió la numeróloga del matinal de TV-UC, Paula González, quien se las dio de cazafantasmas. Llegó repleta de inciensos y le comentó al chef que rochaba algo raro en el lugar. "Ella cachó súper cargado el restorán", parló el Rorro.

Los trabajadores tienen muchas teorías de quién podría ser el que los anda asustando.

Según cuenta la leyenda, una familia que habitó allí hace caleta de años terminó sus días trágicamente luego que el esposo mató a su esposa, dos hijas y se suicidó.

Otra versión habla de un hombre que habría matado al amante de su esposa, cuando los pilló in fraganti. Pero los garzones, barman e incluso Barañao, están seguros de que el espectro que les mete el susto es el antiguo dueño del restorán "El Canto del Agua", quien por problemas económicos se habría ahorcado en el segundo piso.
