Spooky goings on . . . spherical balls of light are captured on camera by Tom Lambert at Newstead Abbey during Halloween last year.
Tom visited the historic grounds with some friends and had spoken to a member of staff about the various ghosts said to have been spotted at the Abbey.
They took a photograph of the waterfall when they got back to the car and while the first picture came out clear, the second one showed these mysterious balls of light.
"The perfectly spherical balls of light have different intensities across the whole photo, therefore ruling out the idea that this could have merely been the cameras flash reflecting on something," said Tom.
"It was not raining and the window was wound down when the photo was taken."
