EXCLUSIVE: BALL OF LIGHT FILMED EXITING NEWBORN'S MOUTH

"My name is Dolly, and I live in upstate NY. My daughter Stephanie gave birth to VERY premature twin girls in mid may 2007. Babies were due on August 1st, but decided to come much earlier, and I am thrilled to report that mom and babes are all doing well. Now for the extraordinary event.

"One week after birth, my daughter Stephanie and I were in the intensive care unit to visit the babies, who are housed in separate nurseries. Steph brought along her digital camera so that I could get some pictures of her holding one of the girls for the first time.

"I asked Steph to fix the camera so that I could make it a little movie rather than a bunch of still shots as it was my first time using a digital camera. I shot a little over 4 minutes of footage........but it's what occurred in the third minute that is absolutely amazing.

"For the first two minutes, Steph is holding Baby B, who is very alert and very smiley-very responsive to our voices. The camera recorded our comments, and provided very clear footage of mom holding baby. All of a sudden (3 minutes/20 seconds into footage), Baby B opens her mouth and out pops a little white bubble of light (pea-sized). I was standing over them, looking down at them thru viewfinder and I saw it very clearly, and camera records this quite clearly.

"The bubble of light dances disjointedly in front of baby - as if it wasn't sure which direction to go in (this also appears on film)......you can hear me comment- 'whats that?' At that point, I removed my face from viewfinder in order to track this little bubble of light with my eyes, rather than try to use viewfinder to spot it (it was moving fast).

"I left camera still filming mom and babe while I watched this little orb of light rapidly spiral off in the direction of the nursery where Baby A is housed.

"It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. My daughter did not see it when it occurred as she was concentrating on the baby........but she did view it later and finally understood WHY I said 'whats that?'

"I am guessing that Baby B was dashing off to see her twin in the other nursery, but I wonder sometimes if it was Baby A leaving from a visit with Baby B and thats why she (Baby B) was so happy and alert (?).

"I think this is very important film because it depicts an extraordinary event-possibly showing the soul connection between twins........but I think it shows a whole lot more. It definitely has made me re-think a lot about life itself.

"When I told my friend of this event, she got chills and started to cry (unknown to me-she lost a baby and she thanked me and said this is the 'first time I have been at peace with the loss in over 25 years') - I think there are others who may find some sort of comfort in this whole story and footage."
