"That picture was taken in my backyard. So I went into the backyard with my camera and started taking random shots. I took many pics and most of them had orbs in them. Some had a few and some had several to a hundred. But this one seemed simply outstanding to me, thus the reason why I am showing it to you."

Jamie continues, "The night that the pics were taken, there was no breeze, no moisture and no one stirring about creating dust. I took that into consideration, and that is partly what really impressed me. I even tried to re-create orbs via throwing water droplets into the air and shuffling dust and dirt about. I also took pic of flying insects.....all those pics came out looking like dust, water, dirt and insects, with no mistake. However, I must tell you that since then I have captured many many more light anomalies, much more bizarre than the basic orb...more like swirling lights, streaming lights and large clouds that look like skeletons."

"Most of the orbs that I get pics of are that white smokey color....but about 15% of them will be BRIGHT blue, pink, green or purple. Very brilliant and beautiful," says Jamie.

"Now when I go to the backyard to take pics of orbs and lights.....I pretty much just point and shoot or take pics of my horse. If my family is out there with me then I will take pics of them. Either way I find lights, mists and orbs in most of them. I have definitely noticed however a 'hot spot' in my yard and I focus mostly on that area. That area covers about a small 30x30 foot area. Which is near an OLD GIANT oak tree, that was here when the Indians were. Someone who knows this area well told my husband that the Chumash Indians buried their dead by oak trees in our area. Interesting."

"Relevant or not, I do live in a rural area that was completely inhabited by the Chumash Indians a few hundred years ago. Ancient burial grounds are all over my community. I do not know what orbs are....there are many theories and all anyone can really do is speculate as to what they truly are," she says.

"Perhaps our conscious mind is too dominant over our sub-conscious and therefore suppresses our soul's memories and knowledge....thus the reasons why no one knows what orbs really are (or can't 'remember' what they are). This is what I think ultimately.

"However I do believe that orbs are individual entities that can 'think', so to speak and are probably drawn to excitement and children as well as people who are seeking to recognize them as conscious anomalies. I am sure that once we complete this life and return Home, that we will remember exactly what they are."
