A Delano family says an image present in their daughter's bedroom is a sign from above.
Carmen Munoz and her family said a light colored figure inside their home is the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. The image appeared around 5:30 pm. Saturday, according to Munoz, after sprinkling holy water on her daughter, Brenda’s, bedroom.
“My daughter came in and as soon as she walks in goes 'Mom, there's the Virgin Mary,” said Munoz. “I go 'no mama, it can't be,”
Munoz said her sister's power went out that day so she came over to the family’s home. She asked her sister to spend the night in Brenda’s bedroom, since she was scared to sleep alone. Brenda said she had sensed someone in the room with her.
Munoz said her son had also claimed to be frightened, after having seen a dark shadow in his bedroom. However, the family says the image is now a source of comfort.
Munoz said she's tried to contact a priest, but hasn't yet received a response.
