THE REALITY OF ORBS         by Tracey

Recently I participated in my first paranormal investigation with Paranormal Australia and we visited Quarantine Station at North Head in Sydney. It is a well known haunted location and dates back to 1822 when the first fleets arrived in Sydney Harbour with immigrants hoping to start a new life in a young country. Unfortunately disease also arrived and the ships were quarantined with smallpox, typhoid, measles and influenza. Approx 560 people are buried on the station's 3 burial grounds and this includes a lot of young children and whole families who died together.

I am really drawn to this place. I was lucky enough to have the most exciting photos and some great spirit orb photos. I never even knew about orbs until this time. I also photographed an apparition type child that I didn't see with my eyes and faces in the buildings and windows and even a strange shadow on a door that doesn't belong to anyone. As well as this I experienced some emotions and feelings that were so overwhelming like sickness in the hospital ward and sadness and grief in another area that I felt was from losing a child or having a child sick. It almost made me cry.

I also photographed an orb on a girls head and on zooming in discovered a few faces or heads. One man is side on with a beard. You can see his brow, eyes, hair, mouth, nose and a bullet hole in his forehead. He also has a large hole in the temple area. I have shown other people and they can see this also. I then borrowed a book from the library on the history of the place and it is recorded that in 1846 the superintendant of the stores shot himself in the head.Records say that he'took his own life while intoxicated'. I believe this spirit to be him.

I always see the spirits faces straight away even down to their hairstyles. I have even checked my own home photos and was stunned. At birthdays and Christmas and school holidays there are family spirits in my photos. I have a lovely photo my husband took of me tucking my son in at night. He has a large orb next to his face and zooming in shows a person with their eyes closed and contented look on their face giving my son a cuddle. My son's 13th fancy dress birthday party last year shows orbs on the dance floor with the kids, one moving with my son and outside in the backyard in the dark I photographed an orb above my son on the clothesline laughing his head off at the same time my son was laughing. On Christmas day I have one large one looking over my shoulder as I open a handmade gift from one son. This sons 12th birthday had spirits present. I am lighting the candles on his cake one night while 2 of his mates look on in the background. There is an orb in between the boys watching also. I even have a cats head in one of my orbs.

Nobody can ever tell me that my orbs are dust particles. I would just laugh at them.

Yes our spirits do return in this form and yes they are around us when we would most like. I've discovered the truth.
