Nanotechnology, the manipulation of atoms and molecules on the scale of a nanometre -- one-billionth of a metre (yard) -- could give humans a science-fiction-like power to remake nature as easily as a child assembles and rearranges Lego blocks.
I believe, that should the science of nanotechnology proceed on its present course, it could conceivably release a veritable Pandora's Box.
The fear of many at this point have been the potential for self-replicating nanobots being released in nature of which have thus not been actualized nor openly admitted as yet regarding its occurrence.
But in theory I believe that the creation of nanobots on a more grand scale of human based production would ultimately result in the creation and introduction of a new species of life form that would have the greater benefit of prior sentience.
Imagine miniature androids that are possessed by the essence or spirits of the dead in then being released within our environment.
Man would assume his greater superiority in controlling what he would presently believe to be this innovative technology operating and being guided as if it were any other computer based program with the exception that "virtual control" of both nature and quite possibly the human body would be his to manipulate and control for the good of all humanity from such tasks as destroying diseased cells or possibly even correcting damage within our environment on a subatomic level..
But nanotechnology require a source of power in order to function like any other computer based ware, except with the difference that, in the operation of a nanobot, a self contained source of power would be required to sustain its operation away from home.
And in comparison, that source of power would be as the human heart is to our own species in where a self contained
Unfortunately, like any other self contained organic or mechanization, it would also be quite prone to attacks from a variety of unknowns including those from a viral type element.
Human beings can catch colds.
Your computer can acquire a written program of destruction known as a virus.
And in both instances they are the result of invasion by one type of element over another.
But in the case of the nanobot, I believe that the threat of invasion would come not from any created viral programming, but possibly from nature its self!
My research field of study into Archaeus Elemental, had eventually lead to my soul discovery of what appears to be sentient living elements within the earths ever shifting electrical fields that I have named: Parectonanoscopics.
Almost cellular in appearance, these, as seen in movement around me, have the ability of distributing and altering their mass instantly in terms of greatest to smallest measurements.
And "they" are the veritable masters of influence regarding both our microscopic and macroscopic perceptions in considering the intelligent control shown regarding who are how anyone may perceive them.
Parectonanoscopics may also be held responsible for almost every incident of paranormal occurrence and experience.
And though there may be many who will disagree with this, but, as evident of our own species ability involving psychic and paranormal occurrence, it may hint at the possibility that of which may also explain the reason that "we" as a species have our own experiences of para phenomenon, as it may stem from the fact that Parectonanoscopics could ultimately represent both point of origin and final destinies upon our moment of death.
So one might be so bold as to say that, Yes, there is continuance after physical death.
But as to the subject of geographical placement, well, I'll leave that to the theologians to argue...
In regarding the appearance of any type of specter phenomenon, upon closer examination of such you would soon realize that what was originally thought of as being comprised of one unique form, had in actuality been manufactured by the merging of many various forms in creating a more solidifying and convincing environmentally interactive substance.
Now the questions that remains to be considered is whether elements containing Parectonanoscopics, are acting independently with one another through a form of collective cooperation or our they being subjected to some type of control through channels of greater manipulation in creating mass through directed cohesion.
Such behavior has long been thoroughly documented through the study of insects like ants and bees who are known for their collective "hive intelligence" of social order within their species.
Now imagine if you will the potential threat of impact by Parectonanoscopics should they ever take a cohesively created form while contained individually within the bodies of nanobots.
The results would well prove fascinating scientifically, but might also prove deadly should their be any existing primal elements to either inflict harm or death through some form or level of indifference towards our species.
Those of our society who have been guilty of gross indifference towards life are also those who have proven themselves most effectively as :killing machines".
Now if science proposes to utilize the methods of nanotechnology in allegedly helping our environment to heal itself, what might happen should "nature" be not so accepting of such further manipulation by that very same species that had caused all originating damage in the first place.
And should that be the case.
Many years from now, should any survivors remain, they might refer to that fateful day as, Nanogeddon.
