Photographer's New Digital Camera Captures Orbs
When Shaun Crookes bought himself a new digital camera the first thing he did was to take some pictures of his son Charlie, and Shaun's girlfriend Michelle. Great though the photo's were, there was something odd about several of them.
What looks like bright circles of light of a varying diameter had appeared for no apparent reason and often in close proximity to Shaun's subjects. In one picture three circles can be counted. There is no indication of flash reflection from any source in the room and the anomalies are certainly representative of the mysterious orbs, now photographed in increasing numbers throughout the world.

Shaun says their home in Leicestershire, England, was built in the early 1900s and the family has noticed, "...a lot of sudden temperature changes in the house".
In an e-mail to FarShores he tells how, "One time I had left my cigarette lighter on my desk at night, and when I got up in the morning it was gone.
"I asked Michelle if she or the kids had been near the desk and she said 'No'.
"Then 10 minutes later, when Michelle and the kids went out, I walked back into the dining room and the lighter was in the middle of the desk where I had left it the night before; which I found very strange because I had searched all around the desk, and the kids had not been near it at all."
Are these bright spots in the pictures really orbs? Have you photographed similar anomalies and would like to share those images with FarShores readers? Do orbs really exist, or is this simply a trick of light? Might they represent some form of unknown intelligence, perhaps even the essence, or soul, of a departed one? Do you have your own theory or explanation?
