MURDERER BLAMES ALIENS FOR HIS ACTIONS

Brno – A Czech man who stabbed his sister to death and injured three other members of his family has repeatedly claimed in court that aliens controlled his actions when he committed the crime.

Yesterday the Supreme Court declare Jaromír Hero guilty of murder, rejecting his appeal and confirming a 25-year prison sentence.

The court said that Hero stabbed his 2-year-old nephew. When Hero's came to defend her child, he attacked her with a knife as well. He then stabbed his mother and a 19-year-old nephew. The sister died of her injuries after two days, aged 38.

Hero told the court that he was not in control over his actions at the time of crime. "I was controlled by a UFO. I was insane and still I am. The UFO appeared, I lost consciousness and remained unconscious," Hero said in court.

Hero recalled a statement by Social Democrat leader Jirí Paroubek, who said he was willing to rule the country in cooperation with Martians, as evidence of the influence of aliens on our planet.

Paroubek mentioned Martians in 2005 in reaction to criticism that he had joined forces with the Communists. "If Martians landed here, we would push the bills through along with the Martians," he said then.

Hero is considered slightly mentally disturbed and definitely lacking balance, but based on expert opinions the court decided that he was only feigning insanity.

Hero had committed crimes before. He was punished for rape and attempted rape, one victim being his daughter. When imprisoned, he threatened to kill a prison guard. After experts revealed his sexual deviation, Hero was castrated on his own request. He is said to be a heavy drinker, but has not undergone treatment.
