The Device By JJ - Chapter 15: Et Sic Finis

CHAPTER FIFTEEN
Et Sic Finis

The Guardians [From the 1998 Dream Cycle]

Three tall, robed figures called Lord Hor-Al[ka]zarus [aka Dargon(is) Lazar(us)], Lord Gudinor, and Lord Ea-Hor-An(u). Hor-Alkazurus> [‘Fire’/’the Sun’ plus variant of Arabic ‘alcazar’, ‘the Fortress’]. This brought to mind the Turkish capital Ankara [originally Angora], Angkor, Cambodia [Egyptian variant Ankh-Hor, ‘Horus Lives’], and Anchorage, Alaska. The hieroglyphs in 1 read Ankh [Life] Ka [Spirit/Force] and Ra [Sun]. Those in 2 read Ankh Kha [Behind or Around] Ra. And in 3 Ankh Kha [Glory] Ra. The Anglo-Saxon ‘anchor’ comes from the Greek agkara, via Latin - ancora. The anchor’s shape derives from 1. I also thought of anchorite and anchoress, male and female hermits. Both derive from the Greek anakhoretes, via Latin - anchoreta. Gudinor > here taken from Indo-Persian - Ghud-i-Noor [‘Invoker of Light’; Egyptian variant - en-Hor , making ‘God of Fire’/’the Sun’]. Reversed, and loosely translated - ‘Light of God’ [variant - ‘Fire of God’]. Ea-Hor-An(u)> [Babylonian: Ea - Water and Anu - Air].

According to M.L. Gilmer.:-

"Atlanteans are returning and seem to be grouping up: The Guardians, The Destroyers, The Black Priests and The Circle of Twelve. These are groups that 'tangoed' during the Atlantean Civil War. The Guardians were charged with preserving society, and hid the Atlantean records. They are charged with keeping the 'Fountain of Youth' safely hidden until the time when its power is needed to heal. The Destroyers are after the Fountain, and used the power of pyramids to create tremors that lead ultimately to the sinking of Atlantis.

"The Black Priests were a militia or mercenary type organization in the priesthood. These hired assassins killed in the Name of God. The ones I've met are determined to be on the 'right side' this time. They carried out orders without question, which they're not willing to do anymore. The Circle of Twelve appear very secretive about their purpose, and believe that they're the Ultimate Authority of Atlantis, then and now. Not a group I care to trust, no matter what the situation.

"The Destroyers and The Guardians have had several conflicts over the centuries, the last during WW II. Near the end of the war, and unknown to the Axis or Allies, they had a battle in France . Very few Guardians wore the same uniform, some were US, some British, German, French, Italian, etc. The Destroyers were similar. The Destroyers lost that battle. In one guise, The Guardians were known as 'The Knights of King Arthur', and The Destroyers as Hitler's SS. The Destroyers are looking for the Key to the Fountain. They are starting to gather in England to search for it, which is bad. The Guardians are also gathering, and it looks like within this year or next they will have to fight again to keep the Fountain safe."

I mentioned three Guardians in Chapter Thirteen, and ML believes he was Lazarus. Thoth, in his role as Keeper of the Hall of Records, and the ultimate 'rescuer' of its contents, may've been another. 'The Four' could've been Black Priests, not only because of their dark robes, but the fact that those named in Chapter Eight 'turncoated' against the established order, especially the High King and Circle of Twelve. They regarded the benevolent Osiris as ineffectual, and may've conspired with Seth, Osiris' jealous brother, to assassinate him. The fourth, Wahuna-Aya [see Chapter Fourteen], 'broke ranks' with them and remained loyal. He may've even assisted Isis, Osiris' queen, to recover her husband's body in Egypt.

As Clow said King Hatonn 'struck the crystal' on the Great Temple in Atlantis' capital causing the fragile Earth-cosmos equilibrium to destabilise, with disastrous consequences. Hatonn might thus be regarded as the head of the Destroyers.

The Circle of Twelve were the kings of the Atlantean Empire headed by the High King, who resided in Plato's Royal City, on the main island. According to Plato, the first High King was Atlas, Poseidon's eldest son, who gave his name to the country and ocean encompassing it. Like Arthur's knights they sat at a round table, so none had greater precedence, though the most important seat, as with Arthur, was occupied by the High King. In the chamber [on the wall or floor] was a map of the empire, and, from this, could be seen that there were seven islands in the Atlantean chain. They stretched from Atlantis proper, the huge landmass opposite the Straits of Gibraltar, to the Gulf of Mexico. [Kircher's accuracy can be verified when compared with the present seabed geography; see Maps]. In the Gulf lay the large islands of Poseidia [remnants include Bimini and the Bahamas: see Chapter Two], to the north, and Antillia [remnants - the Lesser and Greater Antilles], to the south. If we imagine the archipelago as being like the USA, then the Royal City would be Washington DC. Each island, like each state, had its own capital and 'governor'. [Some 15th & 16th century maps have a Mid-Atlantic feature labelled either 'seven isles' or 'seven cities'.] These cities housed the most important temples and the royal palaces.
