In Chapter One I said Cayce dated the demise of Atlantis to c.10500 BC, and that Giza might represent
Orion c.10490 BC. Hope, in The Wisdom of Atlantis, suggested that Osiris, Isis and Thoth could’ve
arrived in Egypt in 10462 BC. In 1990 she’d received a copy of an Ammonite calendar which,
apparently, they’ve dated from a time 12452 years ago. By subtracting that figure from 1990, Hope
arrived at 10462 BC. [She said the Ammonites are Egyptians who “claim descent from the Pharaohs of
old”.]
As the dating of 'astronomical ages' isn't precise [though each lasts
about 2000 years], Osiris and Isis may've been in Egypt in either the Age of
Leo [Hancock - 10,970-8810 BC; Hope - 10000-8000 BC] or the Age of Virgo
[Hope - 12000-10000 BC]. Hancock said the former could explain the leonine
form of the Sphinx, including the original face. However, if Hope is right
about Virgo, the Egyptians' reason for calling the Great Pyramid 'The House
of Isis' becomes clear. Geologist Robert Schoch suggested that the Sphinx's
head and body may've carved separately [head first, body later]. If that is
the case, then might the face have once borne the features of Isis herself?
{Traditionally, in mythology, sphinxes are female.] According to Hope, it
was during the Age of Virgo that the 'feminine principle was fully
acknowledged' on Atlantis. But suppose the Sphinx had been sculpted as Virgo
passed into Leo... .
Yet, alternatively, the Sphinx may’ve been, as Augustus le Plongeon suggested in the oddly titled
Queen Moo and the Sphinx, a monument dedicated by Isis to Osiris, her husband, who was jealously
murdered by his brother, Seth, to gain the Egyptian throne. Thus, the face was his... . [See Chapter

Hope called the Age of Virgo the “mid-period” of Atlantean history, and regarded it as their Golden
Age in Art, Science and Spirituality. She said the priests of the Order of Ta-Khu [Atlantean Lord of
Time and Space] had knowledge of
“genetics, the personality types associated with each genetic pool, and the identification and isolation
of those genes that carried specific E.T. memory banks”.
The Four clearly had an understanding of this science, and, as I said in Chapter Eight, may
themselves have been ‘by-products’ of ‘genetic experimentation’. Osiris himself, I believe, could’ve
been an alien-human ‘hybrid’ carrying Grey genes. [For more on aliens and genetics see Pictorial Evidence for DNA Manipulation? and
Do Pictures Speak Louder...?.] As Hope said the “secret orders” of the Atlantean priesthood were involved with Quantum
Physics, Crystallography, Solar Power and Lasers [all areas covered in this Book] as well, the Device
and Sun Crystal Temples were evidently fully operational in the Age of Virgo.
Though the caduceus [with winged serpents/dragons] emblemises the medical
profession, it also symbolises alchemy [from Arabic al-kimia, from Greek chymeia/chemeia [lit.
'the art of transmutation'], from Khemet, an Ancient Egyptian name for their
land], and Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, the 'lost' 13th Zodiac sign.
Interestingly, at the time the pyramids were built, the Pole Star was Alpha
Draconis, the brightest star in Draco [The Dragon]. As well as being the
staff of Hermes/Mercury, Messenger of the Gods [read DNA], it was also
carried by Tophet[is], an older, malign and winged serpent-headed deity.
