The following piece is a follow-on from The Device: Part Four - A Whirl in a Square, and was complied from my intriguing correspondence with Morgan. He discusses in detail the design and function of the ‘Device’, as I described and drew it:-
"I read your articles about the ‘Device’ [The Device and Out of this World], and I believe I know what it is. It is an electrical field generator, I think it was used to generate a magnetic field. The symbol of the life sign or the ‘ankh’ is a representation of what Cayce referred to as the Firestone... . I re-engineered the ‘Device’, but have not made one yet to see if it would work.
The Eye of Ra resembles the capstone with the crystal tube missing. The Atlanteans used different coloured crystals for different jobs. Green [Cayce’s symbolic colour for Atlantis] was for electrical generators, and...purple for communication. The stone obelisks are insulators, and the ‘djed’ is a compactor-type unit that transfers the AC current generated by the ‘ankh’ or Firestone to a DC current. That then energizes the metal, which is properly a bismuth-based material, or some other dielectric alloy. Some of their symbols are in fact simple schematics.
"If I understand you correctly, you dreamt about this ‘Device’, around January and February 1998. I dreamt of the Firestone on 07-16-98, and have discovered how it works and how to make it. Last year I read Edgar Evans’ [Cayce’ son] "Mysteries of Atlantis Revisited". I had a whole series of dreams concerning Atlantis, and even wrote to the author about his father’s readings. I think our two dreams are connected somehow. I know how to build the Firestone to create electrical power with a side effect being a laser beam. The Firestone is made of two parts, one is a light concentrating and amplifying device, at the top a round crystal, as Berlitz mentioned. The second piece channels the light and sets the laser frequency. The residual effect is a laser of a specific frequency... . The effect of the laser will create an electrical discharge more powerful than the current solar cells.
"I am certain that the pyramid Berlitz [sic] found was the one used to create a turmoil in the Earth, causing earthquakes. In my dreams the crystal used was red crystal that produced a death-ray type laser which triggered the earthquakes.1
"Since I wrote to you I’ve been thinking. I’ve drawn the ‘Device’ in a 3D type drawing, as per your description [The Device], and it is a familar device...I have seen before. Using the principles of the Firestone I believe that it’s a single device. The Firestone creates electricity from the four columns [the obelisks], and then creates a magnetic field. This then creates an electrical field in the rectangular box [I presume he means the chamber below the pyramid - see Out of this World], which then works in reverse to the center crystal [the one I drew like a Sun in The Device]. Instead of creating an electrical discharge it reverses and creates a concentrated beam or a laser of white light that is used as a signal...to pierce through space. Like a ‘homing beacon’. [The beam, I said, shot up from the apex or capstone.]
"I determined this because you dreamt of a device powered by a source that I dreamt about a few months apart from yours! Way too coincidental, don’t you think? Let me know your thoughts about this." 1 Subsequently, I found a book in my local libary, Barbara Hand Clow’s Signet of Atlantis [1992], which on page 20 contains this intriguing passage. It concerns the destruction of Atlantis [c.10500 BC] by artificial means [the bracketed notes are mine], as witnessed by her incarnation as Alcior, a scientist:-
"I hear an incredible low, resonant rumbling... . It is the sound of the resonant vibration of the Earth when its axis is shifting. Hatonn [scientist-king of Atlantis] has struck the crystal2 just now. This is the beginning of the massive quake that will spell the end of Atlantis. The power of the tremor is indescribable.... .
Then the planet spins out of control."
2 Alcior said there was a "central Atlantean crystal" which
"connects the Earth to sky in all our Atlantean cities. We cannot get knowledge from the center of the Earth, but we can use the central Earth crystal to read photons." [pg.14]
Argolid, another Atlantean incarnation, said that the Royal City, as Plato described [a huge encircled Cross] was really "a huge Atlantean temple on an island in the Atlantic". The crystal was in the central island encompassed by the land and water rings. It channelled messages from the heavens to the centre of the Earth and through the water rings to the inhabitants on the land rings.
The Device, from above, looked like a smaller and simplified version of this. The central crystal, in the pyramid, was enclosed by an inner ring. The four "arms" of the cross linked to an outer ring and the four obelisks at the cardinal points of the compass. It too was used for communication and channelling messages and energies from Earth to sky and vice versa. And, as Jim Gilliland said in The Device Explained, it created a portal - a "vortex, a bubble, a gateway" - to other dimensions in time and space.
