Many questions like:
Was there really a monkey man?
Joint Commissioner of Police, northern range, New Delhi, Suresh Roy told rediff.com on Tuesday, "We are in the final stages and are trying our best to expedite the process. The findings will be made public in a few days."
A newspaper had reported that the Delhi Police has solved the mystery, and would release details of the case by Tuesday.
The 'monkey man' attacks had led to panic in Delhi and nearby areas/
There were around 400 calls, alleging monkey attacks, to the police, and around 75 people were reported injured. Some of the calls were, however, fake, and the police had arrested some mischief-makers. A doctor who allegedly tried to spread panic by throwing gloves in north Delhi was among those arrested.
The police had formed an investigative team under an assistant commissioner of police. Apart from this team, the east and north-east police in Delhi were also investigating the case.
At the peak of the 'monkey man' mania, Roy had indicated that the Delhi Police had roped in experts from the Central Forensic Sciences Laboratory and psychologists to help in investigations.
The experts and psychologists were called in after some 'victims' alleged, "The moment I touched it, it turned into a cat."

will hopefully be answered in a few days.
