Invitation To Document Guyana Man-Beast
Hello,
as Sovereign Chief of 15 villages of 4 tribal nations I have always heard
about this creature from eyewitnesses, I myself do not hunt, but my best
hunters have entoured them every year in the same mountains.
A family group of 3 migrates along the ridgeline of Toka mountain every year
to hunt game on the savannnas in the flood season; they do this in the hours
between 10 PM and 4 AM. They do not bother us or our animals and we do not
bother them; we have always lived in peace together.
We think they have clan/family/tribal groups as we do, for in the Kwarri
mountain area 75 miles south lives another group, slighly larger in number.
They are also some solitary males who get close to our camps and howl at
night, if we run away - our meat is gone when we get back. The footprints
tell us it was one of them not an animal.
But we think our wild cousins should be known to the world so they can be
protected, so I am inviting anyone to come to our territory and take
photographic, audio or other evidence to prove what we have always known to
be true.
We seek no money, but you must allow myself and my best hunters & trackers
to lead you to them, no maps - or others may look for them to do them harm.
All you need to do is come to our country - and we will take care of
everything else. We can meet you at the International airport and return you
to the same once you have obtained the proof you need.
If you are not interested could you kindly consider asking some of your
contacts to get in touch with me ?
Best regards,
Damon Gerard Corrie

FarShores note: Guyana is located in northeastern South America, between Venezuela and Suriname, with Brazil to its south. The country is approximately the size of Idaho and has a population of less than 700,000 people. Checking my copy of 'Modern Mysteries of the World', by Janet and Colin Bord, I found several references to the wildmen of Guyana, or Didi as they are known. Eyewitness accounts of these apemen date back to 1910, when two gold prospectors in the Konawarak region reported seeing a pair of creatures with human features, that were covered in reddish-brown fur. In 1986 or 1987, an American botanist also had an encounter with a 5-foot hairy creature while in a forest.
