It seems Fife's elusive big cat is still at large, and a reported sighting of a beast in Cupar last week has prompted another Glenrothes woman to contact The Gazette with her experience.
The Cadham resident, who did not want to be named, saw a big black cat while she was walking her dog a few months ago.
She said: "I was out walking my dog in the Gilvenbank Park, at the back football fields.
"And when I was checking if there were any other dogs or people around before I let my young pup off the lead, I saw something at the other end of the football park.
"I thought it was a rottweiler to begin with so I stood waiting for a few minutes to see if its owner would appear, but no one came.
"And as I was waiting, I noticed the animal had a big long tail and I thought, that's not a dog, it's a cat."
She continued: "I was frightened to go back, but I did go back to the spot a few days later.
"Where the cat had been there were a few white feathers lying, whether this was because it had been eating, or if it was a coincidence, I don't know.
"I just couldn't believe what I had seen, I must have watched it for about 10 minutes, and it's not a sight I'm going to forget."
