Armed cops are hunting a big cat thought to have killed two foals.
The black beast was spotted in woodland by farmer Paul Gash.
He said: It was about 5ft long from nose to tail bigger than any labrador dog. It really alarmed me.
Police using a helicopter with heatseeking equipment found nothing. But massive paw prints have been discovered in Anglesey, North Wales.
The hind legs of a foal have been found and another has disappeared. The mother of one had been badly clawed.
