Posted July 21.02 Panther Kills Welsh Family's Pets [Original headline: PANTHER KILLS FAMILY'S PETS] A wild panther was blamed yesterday for killing a family's pets in their back garden. Police investigating the attacks on a goose, a chicken and two ducks said a "big cat" is on the prowl. Gerry Woodhouse saw the animal on his garden wall at Blaenavon, Gwent, three days earlier. The birds were part of a menagerie kept by Mr Woodhouse and his partner Susan Fiander. She said: "There was absolute carnage."
