Hissing Big Cat Scares Norfolk Driver

Police have been informed about the reported sighting of a big cat close to a Norfolk village.
James Richardson, 19, was driving home at about midnight on Wednesday and was just coming out of Mileham when he saw what he thought was a big dog.
"As I got closer and closer I couldn't believe what I was looking at. It was on the left of my car and it walked across the road in front of me and as I drove past it just stopped and hissed at me and looked at me," said Mr Richardson, of Valley Way, Fakenham.
He said it was definitely a big cat or panther with jet black shiny coat and bright green eyes.
"As it walked past it was the size of its tail that gave it away and it was horrible, like something out of a movie," he said.
It was only just outside the village, and he reported what he had seen to an officer at Fakenham police station before going home.
