ANCIENTDIMENSIONS ARTICLE:.

'High up on a stained glass window at the church of St Mary Magdalene, Beziers, France, the village that in 1209 had its 20,000 population slaughtered on Mary's Feast Day for their belief that Jesus and Mary were married, so small as to almost be imperceptible, is a rather unexpected figure at her feet. It is a dog! To its left we see the crest of Pope Leo XII, which can also be found above the church doorway at Rennes-le-Chateau with the added Latin motto 'Lumen in coelo' - 'Light in the sky'. Is this light in the sky the brightest of them all, the dog star Sirius? The motto contains the encrypted place name of 'Lincoln' and it is here at the Great East Window of the Gothic Cathedral, at the scene of The Last Supper, what do we see upon Christ's plate - a dog!

Outside in the Cathedral precincts there is a statue of Grail Poet Lord Tennyson with a black dog looking up. In the church of RLC St Roch stands with a black dog looking up, too. Not only is Roch the Patron Saint of dogs, but his Feast date is one day after, as if a closing declaration of, the ending of the Egyptian 'dog days' on August 15th. The demon guardian statue in the Rennes church has his right leg over his left. Alongside him, St Roch is bearing his right leg. The demon guardian imp at Lincoln Cathedral has his right leg over his left, and the dog at Beziers has his crossed over his left! What are these reoccurring images indicating to us?

Furthermore, we learn that the Greek word for 'dog' is 'Cyon', sounding the same as 'Sion', when the word 'imp', our Lincoln demon, derives from Old English 'impa' meaning 'shoot', 'offspring', 'graft', and in Masonic architecture a graft is ' the place of junction and stock and scion'...'scion' a word from Old French 'sion' meaning a young member of a family, descendant, offshoot. In Egyptian, Sothis (Sirius) means 'pregnant' or 'to be pregnant'...can we tie in a pregnant Mary Magdalene here with our dog symbology with attendant guardian demons and Priory of Sion?

The dog was always the guardian of knowledge at the entrance to the Underworld, and it is here we must look for a possible explanation for all our re-occurring symbologys, icons and archetypes - and what is referred to in psychology as the Collective Unconscious, the universal memories and experiences of humankind, represented in the unconscious images of all people...a reservoir of the experiences of our species that directs the Self through archetypes present in mythologies, dreams and intuition..a treasure hunter's most unlikely tools!

As a researcher attempting to locate a lost treasure, I have always employed the wonderous and magical tools of synchronicity, coincidence and this Collective Unconscious, for this is where our 'lost' memories reside deep in this watery realm, with occasional bubbles rising to the surface of our daily waking consciousness or seeping through. It is also a mechanism whereby hoaxers are often only hoaxing themselves when their handiwork becomes meaningful to an unexpected recipient elsewhere.

Crop circle hoaxers are one such example. What a convoluted means of communication! By employing this strange medium, I was able in 2005 to translate the famous RLC Parchments - which some still argue are fake - and present their conclusion, an 'x' marks the spot, in convincing fashion at Lincoln Cathedral, itself replete with the archetype of the dog, guardian of knowledge.

The model maquette, or model map, entitled 'Jerusalem' (although clearly not of the Middle Eastern city) presented by the French RLC researcher Andre Douzet, allegedly commissioned by the priest Sauniere two years before his death in 1917, claims to reveal two tombs close to RLC, but it also shows itself to unexpectedly fit as comfortable with the terrain of the Lincoln Cathedral Code, which is wonderfully convenient as only three miles away there is the uniquely titled British village of Jerusalem!

If we take a look at the painting by the Belgian artist Eugene Samain entitled 'The Invocation' that hangs in the Museum of Antwerp, we will also see another confirmation for the location of the Lincoln Cathedral Code, as well as the maquette. We see a Guardian sitting at the SE corner of the familiar stonework of Lincoln Cathedral facing what would be the St Margaret's burial grounds, where under plot 28 as revealed by the Cathedral code from the decoded RLC Parchments, hides the lost treasure of the Knights Templar. Who does he guard? The symbol on his seat is the Seal of Solomon - she is Jewish. He holds a thistle, which in Latin translates as 'Cardu' It is phonetic for 'Card Two' (tarot)..she is the High Priestess Mary Magdalene! He has 4 buttons down his tunic sequentially followed by 7 small squares containing an 'x'.

4x7 = 28. The female in the coffin (without lid on) was actually discovered alongside Lincoln Cathedral in 2005 and is now referred to as 'The tomb of the unnamed woman'. She, too, was headless with a missing lid. She points at a green pearl. The name 'Green' originates from 'one who dwells at a grassy mound' or 'the green hill'. 'Pearl' is a word from the Greek form of Margaret. (St Margaret ended her days decapitated!) Thus, the painting is telling us; 'Plot 28, St Margaret on the hill, opposite SE corner of Lincoln cathedral, the Jewish High Priestess Mary Magdalene'. The silhouetted background shows Lincoln castle from a certain angle.

Let us take a closer look at Lincoln Castle itself. Like the Cathedral, whose Patron saint was St Hugh and whose emblem was the swan, it also contains swan symbology albeit hidden. Given that you can see the Lincoln Cathedral Code marker tomb in a direct line from the Castle's Observatory tower, does this make the Castle , where some of the finest prison carvings in Europe can be seen to this day carved by the imprisoned Templar Knights, a candidate for the mythic Grail Castle where lived the fabled Fisher King?

I suggest we look instead at the name kingfisher, the bird that is otherwise known as the halcyon, containing the Greek word for dog, cyon. In Greek mythology Alcyone, daughter of Aeolus, ruler of the winds, married Ceyx, son of Eosphorus, the morning star. This is interesting as legend tells us was the wind that blew the Lincoln imp into the Cathedral that contains so many references to the dog star, the bright and morning star, Sirius. Alcyone's story ends when she is transformed into a kingfisher. The word 'halcyon' originates from the Greek hals, sea and kyon, conceiving..again a reference to a birth. Mary, the Grail?

From the old French version, the name of Grail Castle was Corbenic, In Malory's version, Carbonek. Within the 1068 Castle is the 13thc Cobb Hall, where the Templars were imprisoned and carved their strange handiwork in stone. Wagner used the swan to symbolise the Grail knights, the bird considered sacred by them. A 'cob' is the name for the male swan. Young swans are knowns as cygnets from the Latin word for swan, 'Cygnus'. Phonetically, we revert to 'signet' a 'seal' - an obligation to secrecy. At the Castle there is also 'Lucy Tower'. In Latin the name Lucy means 'light' and one of its variant forms, Spanish and Latin, is Luz, an early name for the biblical town of Bethel, mentioned in the strory of Jacob and the ladder whereupon Jacob ascended to heaven. An inscription relating to this is also above the church doorway at RLC. Is Lincoln Castle with the Grail evidently hidden but a short distance away opposite SE corner of the Cathedral a candidate for Grail Castle? Could it not be Corbenic, but, again with the ploy of phonetics, a favourite of the Templars and Masons, 'Cob neck'...the visual trademark of the swan?

Both swans and kingfishers can be see at the nearby River Witham below Castle and Cathedral. There is one of the Templar prison carvings in particular that appears as if it is trying to tell us something. The knight shows us an arrangement of 4 fingers on one hand and 5 on the other. Behind him is a cross. If we 'cross' 4x5 we arrive at 20..the exact number of days before and after the Earth-Sirius conjunction...the number of the dog days and the number of the fifth down and fourth across roundel out of 64 at the Great East window where we see the dog on Christ's plate. Is the Cross behind him an 'Eleanor Cross' associated with Eleanor of Castille at the SE corner of the Cathedral who looks directly over at the Code Marker tomb in Margaret's burial grounds? ( A remaining remnant of an Eleanor Cross now stands within the Castle.)

And so, to the maquette, which also curves in places itself. Like the Parchments, there are some who claim it is a hoax. Although there is no scale, taken from the aerial view, it fits rather comfortably as well as any efforts in France, and even with the layout of modern day Lincoln! Apart from the obvious Castle and Cathedral, there are two other noteworthy features. One is where the stone oblong appears on the maquette - it is the Lincoln Water Tower constructed in 1905, ten years before the model map was constructed. The Tower is adorned in multiple decoration with the very symbol of France, the fleur-de-lys. The relationship of Tower to castle is strikingly the same as the water tower at RLC to its Castle!

As precise, is the break in the map nearest the bottom. It is exactly where stands Jews House and Court, Lincoln being one of the most important Jewish communities in England well established before officially noted in 1154. Here it is believed once stood a synagogue. Plenty of Jewish connection here then for 'Jerusalem', as well as the aptly named village only three miles away! We must also remember that, like the Holy City, Lincoln under Roman occupation was also a walled city, some of its Gates still standing today. Adherents of the maquette being in France claim that there are two tombs where names are marked, but my suggestion is that if we go with the greenish tinged stone to the far right we ought not be to surprised that this one location is exactly at the conclusion of the Cathedral code - as revealed by the RLC Parchments and the Samain painting - St Margaret's burial grounds at GREESTONE Place!

Has the Collective Unconscious gathered us the clues and led us here? If so, how this mechanism works may well be the greatest mystery of all.
