Something odd exists on the topographical maps of one of the parcels wanted for the Skywatcher reservation (originally Skywatcher tribal land between 12000 years ago to the early 1700’s). The topographical maps are at least ten years old, but even the most current satellite photo reveals the spot by the way the trees form an oval shaped pattern around the spot. The spot is a 100 yards wide on the high point of a ridge. What makes this odd is that the surrounding area doesn't show other high points that are so specific and condensed, almost like this formation was artificially built on the top of this ridge which most likely has cave passage under it. Could this be an ancient Indian Temple Mound that had been long since eroded by weather or settlers in the area or is it simply an odd geological formation?

The parcel on which this mound is located is owned by a church and they have not replied to a request to donate the property (nor to allow an expedition onto the property) which is an obvious indication that they want money in order to give up the land. The parcel to the East of it contains ChiyaChsehee (Dragon Cave). If the feature is a mound, then the chance that ChiyaChsehee may have indeed been used as a sacred place to bury ancestors or hide artifacts and records.
The mound, if artificial, could mark an Earth energy field (which is common and traditional among the ancient Skywatchers to do, most pyramids and temple and pyramid mounds rest on top of a geological anomaly such as a magnetic distortion field or an EEF).

The parcel is almost a quarter of a mile long and about 200 yards wide before crossing onto the ChiyaChsehee parcel. To determine whether this feature is artificial or natural, several subsurface scans would need to be done, especially with a ground penetrating radar, which may be able to prevent a core sample from being extracted. A core sample is obtained by taking a hollow tube or pipe that has a beveled end that is basically twisted into the ground as far as it will go.
When lifted out, the soil inside the pipe remains in the pipe. By carefully pushing the soil into a transparent tube, the soil layers can be seen. These layers will reveal how the mound was formed. An artificial mound will be composed of mixed materials if it was continuously built or layered with shells, pottery and debris if it was built over generations. A natural mound will have a layer of topsoil, sand, clay and finally a limestone base, if the limestone was near the base of the mound. In the topographical other high points of other ridges have wide spaces between the outlines and are not specifically shaped, meaning that it appears as a gently sloping hill that no one would take much notice of. The mound appears as a steep, specific shape on a ridge that is surrounded by sinkholes and cave entrances. The USGS produced the topographical map and surveyed the area as not being somewhat square in shape. This adds a little more evidence that the mound may be artificial, its edges eroded by the many centuries of rain or destroyed by attempts to level the grounds for farming in the 1700s.
The Timacuan Indians that were common in the area (now extinct) were known for relatively small debris mounds, at least that is what has been revealed by archaeologists. It has been known for some time that many of these scientists are not honest with all their findings, especially if it risks their careers. The Skywatchers are known for directing the placement of large mounds and pyramids on or near Earth energy sites and other places of special geologic anomalies.
Scientific devices have shown the existence of the Earth energy field at Rock Springs and detected some other fields in the areas surrounding the mound. Unfortunately, the land is owned by a church and only money will allow research to be done or for the property to be obtained. Meanwhile, development is drawing ever nearer.
Geometric landforms: the Wekiwa Triangles
The large Triangles found in Wekiwa Springs State Park were found to be a result of logging and continued use by hunting camps in the early 20th century. Smaller shapes that align with the Rock Springs Earth energy field and with the southern face of the Dragon pyramid mound, may not be the result of those early 20th century hunting camps. Is it merely a coincidence that the smaller forms fall into alignment with the center of the Earth energy field? Is it a coincidence that these shapes fall under an alignment between a triangular pond in the Rock Springs Run Preserve and the southern side of the eroded Temple Mound? Since this area holds many EEF fields and was considered a major sacred site of the ancient Skywatchers, coincidence is a possibility but not likely... in fact, coincidence may be nothing more than an excuse for the professional and government archaeologists to avoid the truth of a technologically advanced tribe that called the area home.

Topographical maps show the area, in the bend of Rock Springs Run, to be partial wet land and dry ground gently sloping toward the east. When the ground water levels were lower, 12,000 years ago, this area would not have been swamp at all. The Cypress swamp, along the Wekiwa / Kelly Park border, is a lower depression and would be as it is today. The swamp has been a source of big game hunting as long as humans have existed in this region.
When the shapes are examined under maximum magnification of the USGS resolution of .25 meter, the triangles appear to be an open area, possibly swampy with darker vegetation as a cover and possibly a depression as indicated by the shadows cast by the surrounding trees. The ring appears to be a sinkhole in which the debris cone forms the visible island and as it goes deeper to the sides, ground water fills the void forming the black ring appearance.
The two large triangular clearings in the trees were caused by logging. Could the geometric shapes have been the result of something the early 20th century hunting camps did, perhaps garbage and waste dumps? The positions may have been the simplest place to dig these pits with the shape dictated by surrounding trees or rock. The only way to know for sure whether these geometric shapes are of ancient origin or were created by the fairly recent timber and hunting groups is to examine them with all the scientific devices one can carry. This will require a camping expedition, which should not be done during the summer season due to storms and nasty conditions. Limited financial resources will also dictate whether or not a multi day trip is going to be feasible even if the art commissions keep up. An electric generator will also be needed to power a laptop computer and recharge its battery.
A one-day visit would provide very little time to get a good sampling of data of the sub surface structure. Getting caught out there after dark, even with flashlights, is not a good idea if one isn't camping. The site is in the most remote section of Wekiwa Springs State Park and it requires an hour or so to hike to the area.
Dragon Mound alignments
More evidence has been uncovered that supports that the belief that the Dragon Mound may in fact be of artificial origin rather than an odd natural formation.
Although the precise measurements have not been taken due to the land owners not giving permission to go onto the property, it appears on satellite photos, and topomaps, that the Dragon Mound aligns to both geological features as well as astronomical features.

On the north-south axis, the mound is in line with Sulfur Spring (and the EEF) to the north and a terraformed sinkhole to the south. This north-south axis is known as the meridian in astronomical terms, the point of mid day and the overhead position.
Along the east-west axis are sinkholes and the northern most geoforms of Wekiwa to the east. This is also known as the Equinox alignment (the days of equal day and night).
Along the diagonal lines there are some major springs but also some Earth energy fields (the major one to the southeast is the sacred grounds in Kelly Park. These also mark the Solstice sunrise and sunsets. Perhaps even the northern and southern most risings and settings of the Moon.
The positions of the sinkholes and cave entrances are taking on a pattern that could be revealing the layout of the passage that lies below or they could all be separate caverns that have caved in.
The mound probably marks an EEF, which is where mounds of any importance are usually placed. If the DivineElf were used in the area, would it most likely reveal earth energy lines connecting the various EEFs? Would multiple lines converge onto the mound?
A systematic ridge walk down the length of the parcel would provide enough data to reveal the energy lines and how they cross the parcel. The unfortunate part of this process, is again, the property owners will not answer letters requesting permission to perform a basic electromagnetic scan. While some limited samples can be obtained from walking along both sides of the road, this would only show where the energy lines are on the road. There's no way to tell if the lines continue onward across a parcel, deflect to a new direction or stop altogether. The further apart the readings, the less accurate the picture would become.
The road-heading north along side the mound is very long, as far as walking goes. Not to mention, the teens that vandalized the archaeological site just off this same road would probably harass anyone who didn't live in the area (the teens are responsible for the thefts and vandalism that routinely takes place in the area).
Determining the age of the mound can only be guessed at according the satellite photos and the oldest available aerial surveys. A September 1960 soil survey is just detailed enough to show the ruined mound. In the gray scale images, it is difficult to tell trees from sinkholes but it is clear that the parcels on which the mound and primary cave entrance are located was fairly clear of trees which tells that the land was cleared for farming or livestock sometime earlier. These features were present 45 years ago. The history of the area tells that troops came through to eradicate the native population around the 1700s. This gives the clue that the mound and cave have been there for 305 years.
Core samples would probably reveal artifacts that will probably show the mound and cave entrance to be at least 1000 years old, probably dating to the same period that the great mounds built along the coasts and up the Mississippi.
As history has shown, these ancestral grounds were already taken away from the tribe and altered for the settlers of the time. If left to Orange County government, or perhaps even Apopka's government, developers would eventually get their hands on these parcels, the trees cleared and the mound leveled even further so additional houses, condos or some commercial structure can be added.
This is the primary goal of the Skywatcher tribe; to raise the funds needed to re-acquire these special lands and forever protect them from the developers whom government now supports.
