Depending on your viewpoint, the strange rock formations that exist in Saskatchewan's Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park could either be geologic in nature or perhaps the vestiges of an ancient civilization. Whatever they actually represent, people seem to have been attracted to this wilderness site for thousands of years. Already leaving their mark in the form of scattered petroglyphs.

Located a 45 minute hike from Fort Walsh and on privately-owned land, the mystery rocks appear quite unlike anything else that exists in the area. They are a real anomaly, prompting debate among academics and visitors alike as to their actual origin. - fs
