Isaiah 13:19 says, "And Babylon, the beauty of kingdoms, the glory of the Chaldeans' pride, will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah."

Next to Jerusalem, Babylon is the second most frequently mentioned city in the Bible; it's located in present day Iraq.

The Bible predicts two wars in Babylon and according to Jeremiah, a third. But first, the infamous City of Babylon must be rebuilt. Hussein began that rebuilding project some years ago. More recent satellite photos show that Babylon is rising again and now, the United States of America "owns" the land of ancient Babylon (in terms of practical, actual, literal control). America gained this distinction by literally conquering with its military (the army, navy and air forces). The reality is that there is no real nation of Iraq today, due to its occupation.

Has America become the new 'Babylon'? With the U.S rebuilding Iraq, well...

Let's look at other things.

Jacques Chirac proposed a "pioneer group" of nations within the European Union (EU), separate from the main EU group and progress towards a reunited Europe. Could this be the ten kingdoms prophesized in the Biblical Daniel?

The election of Vladimir Putin and his party may lead to a rebuilding of Russia as a dominant player on the world scene, as is allegedly prophesied in Biblical Ezekiel.

Russia and China have become close allies. To become the dictators of the world, the dictators of China need a combination of China's vast human resources (including a rapidly growing number of Chinese military technologists) and Russian military technology that has been advancing dramatically in the last 75 years.

Any American who visualizes Russia in terms of 19th-century, should open a Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary to p. 1,140 (10th edition) and read the word "sputnik." It entered the English language in 1957. That year, the Russia Soviet Union entered the age of intercontinental ballistic missiles (with nuclear warheads) by sending into orbit an artificial earth sputnik (earth satellite) ahead of the United States; a surprise to westerners, including the CIA and all other Western intelligence/espionage services.

Even, in May 2000, Putin declared that should U.S. naval forces try to defend Taiwan, the Russian Pacific Fleet would block U.S. vessels. The U.S has vowed to 'protect' Taiwan from any Chinese invasion.

Hopi Indian prophesy indicates World War III will be started by those peoples who first revealed the light (the divine wisdom or intelligence) in the 'other' old countries (India, China, Islamic Nations, Africa). They state the emergence to the future Fifth World has already begun.

In late 2000 a man calling himself John Titor began posting messages on internet discussion boards, claiming that he was a time traveler from the year 2036. His mission had been to journey back to the year 1975 and make contact with his grandfather, who was a member of the engineering team developing the IBM 5100, but somehow he ended up in 2000 instead. During the few months he spent posting messages on the internet he made a number of specific predictions about the future.

To briefly mention:

2004: Civil unrest develops around the US Presidential election.

2005: An American civil war begins in earnest: "I would describe it as having a Waco type event every month that steadily gets worse. The conflict will consume everyone in the US by 2012 and end in 2015 with a very short WWIII."

2015: Russia launches a nuclear strike against the major cities in the United States. A world war proceeds that kills nearly three billion people.

Oddest thing about this 2015 date? Ever hear of the Global Strike Joint Integrating Concept? This isn´t a very publicly known document, but "The Joint Concept Development and Revision Plan (JCDRP) defines a Joint Integrating Concept (JIC) as a description of how a joint force commander (JFC) integrates capabilities 10-20 years in the future to generate effects and achieve an objective. What? This document describes a concept for conducting Global Strike (GS) operations during the “Seize the Initiative” (STI) phase of a major combat operation (MCO) in 2015, by the U.S. The principle purpose of this concept is to support rigorous capabilities-based assessment and analysis to determine material and non-material solutions to capability gaps and redundancies throughout the Department of Defense. As the basis for performing this assessment, this concept identifies effects, capabilities, tasks, attributes, conditions, and standards for conducting future Global Strike. Still lost?

Is it coincidence?

Onward, about this American 'civil war' in 2005? I'm not too sure what to make of this. I guess I can say there does seem to be something odd about 2005. Maybe the the beginning to that infamous 2012 date? Look at what happened in New Orleans recently and the 'protests' launched in the US and Europe against this illegal 'war' in Iraq. Someone's stadning up, should more be said?

The American Traditional Catholic Church predicts that "three days of darkness" will envelop the earth shortly and as a warning sign, a cross will appear in the heavens so that all can see.

Writer and researcher Zecharia Sitchin, has written about the Ancient Sumerians and the planet where 'God' the creator, resides. It's referred to in the Bible as Olamin, the plural of Olam. The meaning of "olam" in the ancient world was a measure of a really long time, specifically related to the span of time between the periodic disappearance and reappearance of the (lost) planet Marduk/Nibiru on its vast 3,600 year elliptical orbit. Olamin was described as a kingdom which encompasses many worlds. According to one source, the Dogon tribe of Mali called this planet "the egg of the world," and they say it is the origin of all things. It is said that this planet is "the center of all things and without its movement no other star could hold its course." The Sumerians also wrote that this planetary "god," Nibiru, "remade our solar system and remakes the Earth on its near passages." Could this be the cause of these days of darkness, and the devastation predicted to occur in revelations? Will the 'cross' that's predicted to appear in the heavens, be this lost planet, that will bring 'chaos' to earth?

Well, Father Malachi Martin (R.I.P) said, "The Christian church is decaying, has nothing to say and is on the way out." He also added that the other great religions are suffering the same fate and predicted that there would be "A world-wide religion with one structure and institutions," managed by "one great bureaucracy. And out of that will emerge the ultimate disaster."

Another writer, Michael Drosnin predicted in his book "The Bible Code II" that "the Bible code clearly states the danger in modern terms- 'atomic holocaust' and 'World War' are both encoded in the Bible. And both are encoded with the same year, 2006."

...So how is it no one is to know when the end is near, when all of these things are happening now?
